They have a fan meeting coming up and general ticketing opened up a few minutes after Kpop Dance class ended, so I logged onto NOL App and tried my luck. 12,000 something ahead of me in queue. Not bad.

It still took 40 minutes to get to the 100s, so I pulled into a gas station to do the ticketing. To my surprise I nabbed a seat at Inspire Arena, Incheon that was closer to the stage than any other concert I've attended to date.

So out of curiosity I spent another half hour logging back in to check out Sunday and after a full hour after box office opened, most of the 3rd floor of the stadium was fully available.

So this is a group that launched THIS year and it's only may so all of the floor and almost all of first floor selling out is a great accomplishment.

Inspire Arena can seat between 12k and 15k people depending on stage format.

Then of course my thoughts turn to KQ and the Ateez fan meeting happening at Koryu U, which seats a max of 9K.

A NEWBIE GROUP rented Inspire Arena for their group launch fan meeting but KQ is extremely consistent about, you know, fuck the Korean bitches. Thanks, Daddy KQ.

Or maybe, actually, in the end, after all these years and all this effort, Ateez is kind of a failure group, domestically. And if it is, this inability and unwillingness to invest money in the group has to be a major contributing factor.
