Hi. I was wondering if you knew a simple wy to widen ope eyews on a doll without a dremel.
Yup, just use sandpaper! Use a pretty low grit, like maybe 180 or 240 for the initial work but mostly stick around 320 to 600 grits, 600 for finishing it off to smooth it.
Just cut off pieces of sandpaper and fold them up so you can get a good grip on the paper and your head. Use a pencil to mark your eye shape, and make it *slightly* larger than what you intend so you have room for mistakes.
Also it helps to turn the head upside down to check for evenness! Some company's heads actually have really lopsided faces, so "evenness" is kind of subjective to how the face is aligned. (Just something to check out for!)
