I killed two birds with one stone by submitting it on Art Fight but might as well show Tumblr too.

Kotta tried to be a serious teacher, she really did, but some things can't be helped. She just lets Ube win without putting up much resistance and then acts all drama-queeny about it. (And, of course, gives praise and pats.)

And Risa also tried staying awake, but wrangling a wyrmling like Ube must be a lot for one guy, so it wasn't long before he nodded off. Luckily, Ako deals with a trouble magnet of his own, so he's there to offer safety and comfort with only mild exasperation <3

I know they had a playdate recently but I adore them and I wanted Ako to interact with Val as well ^^ (and yet I still didn't succeed, they just sit and do nothing >:( )

Welcome to the Familiars Vs The Apocalypse AU, an idea that sprung up into my head after watching @b0t-bob create an AU full of killing wyrms and yearning for more angst! The premise is basically: I take adopted creatures that I gave to Art (my Rise OC), put them into the Bad Timeline shown in the Rise movie and watch as I destroy all their hopes and dreams by witnessing each other die off one by one!

... Okay maybe I AM a little sorry after all. Gosh, my poor little babies...

Anyway, because I'm a coward, I don't know how much I'll create from this AU. This video was mostly to try out animating and to satiate my stronger than usual hunger for heavy angst. I have an idea of what Celeste and the wyrms look and behave like and I also gathered a bunch of wyrm headcanons along the way, but other than that, no story whatsoever!

Please ignore the dogshit quality, I ended up getting too lazy to better color the blood.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go cry in the corner and ponder my reason for existing.
