ok but the thing that really grinds my bones about the bronte inflicting full force on sophie thing is grady's reaction. grady was horrified at the prospect of sophie having to do this, was alerted to it by the council, told her to watch out, his voice worried and making sophie worried as well, gave her medication to help with what was coming, and then checked up on her afterwards. like the council really said, "we're going to hurt your daughter and you cannot stop us" and he just had to go along with it
What if elves were actually just humans with a few mutations. And humans are introduced to elves and live together but then humans start hating on elves for their talents and stuff, kinda like the Fjerdians to the Grisha in Six of Crows, if you’ve read it. But that doesn’t happen to the talentless so the roles are all reversed and the elves realize what they’ve been doing to the talentless all these years. You don’t have to do anything with this I just thought it would be an interesting dynamic.
haven't read Six Of Crows, but that's definitely a very interesting take!!!
i really like that idea!! it would be really interesting to write as an au!!!
Almost like a reverse Red Queen... hmmm now i am thinking thoughts....
IMAGINE HOW MUCH SOPHIE WOULD BE HATED WITH ALL THOSE POWERS---
