How much money are we talking here? Because I’m planning on spending a tiny amount of it on train ticket to see my piece of trash boyfriend, but other than that, I’m poor and not spending money.

oh god this is so hard to answer! i really like will’s home in hannibal bc it’s so isolated and surrounded by countryside, but then i like hannibal’s home bc it’s so alluring!

there’s loads of other ones i like but i guess hannibal and will’s have had a lasting impression on me (thanks bryan fuller you ass)

89. Do you get easily distracted?

I lose my train of thought when I see a cat, I stare off into space because sunlight is just so pretty, I find it difficult to tell only ONE story at a time, I trip on the pavement because I get engrossed in someone’s facial expression… So yes, very, endlessly, constantly.

90. Ass or titties?

One of my writing professors told us to always treat the papers as though only other people who are in our field can read it. meaning, no defining anything, and use big words :/

No but seriously. I get that we use specialised terms and stuff in our respective fields, that’s not the problem. The problem is with authors using words that they don’t HAVE TO USE to describe something really simple. Like, for example, one article I read basically said:

“The participants responded to the primary stimuli denoting it as ‘meretricious‘“

Like SERIOUSLY!

How about just said “not nice” or “having no real value”

YOU KNOW WORDS PEOPLE WOULD ACTUALLY USE JFC

It annoys me because they could easily summarise their results and methodology and stuff without forcing me to google every fancy ass words every ten minutes (and my vocabulary is pretty fucking good but I don’t half feel like a moron with some of the words they use)
