Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap?

Oh, he's a waiter. He's been pining for his best friend for years and hasn't spoken a word about it. The poor guy.

What causes them to feel dread?

The idea of his family finally tightening the lease on him for going a step too far, whatever that may be. It's very a big fear of his that they have the power to rip apart his friendships at a moment's notice. That's the point of them letting him be in the gang in the first place. It's leverage.

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

I'm sorry this is stupid late, I just really wanted to think long and hard about this.

Akio Abe

What he loves: The whole bosozoku aesthetic, obviously. There's no real way I can see him existing like that if he's not a nerd about vintage stuff on some level. Motorcycles and rock n' roll, baby.

What drives him crazy: People that prey on the meek, it's a big berserk button. In fact, it's the entire reason why The Strikin' Vipers exist in the first place. Princess Primrose is also a huge nuisance to him when she first shows up, but they eventually get along.

Kosuke Aoki

What he loves: The Strikin' Vipers in general, but particularly Akio. He really cannot imagine his life without him.

What drives him crazy: His family. Dad's a big businessman that owns a lot of the shit in town. They very much do not want him to be part of a gang, not out of concern for his safety but because it makes them look bad. They can't seem to get a leash on him no matter how much they try, though.

Ichiro Kobashi

What he loves: His big sister, embroidery, attention, stabbing

What drives him crazy: Akio. They butt heads quite a bit, as he much prefers more aggressive approaches to defending their territory and the like. He's the lancer, what else do you expect from him?

Noboru Himura

What he loves: Anything action, particularly battle anime, or fantasy. He's probably the most stereotypically geeky of them in terms of interests.

What drives him crazy: Rules that make no sense and the people that try to control him with them

Daichi Sugiyama

What he loves: Ducks! There's a pond near the shrine where his family lives and there's been ducks around ever since he was small. It extends to affection towards birds in general, so he's good friends with Primrose before he's in on the whole Bride's Bouquet business.

I feel like by virtue of being the main character Akio has to be paired with Hello Kitty. Plus their main color being white with red/pink accents.

I'm not sure if they allow the "cute mascot" character to participate in these sorts of things since it's already about pairing characters with cute mascots, but Princess Primrose is a central character, so I'm insisting on her inclusion. She would be paired with My Melody, because as she's portrayed in HKIA and Supercute Adventures, she has a very Type A personality which Primrose shares.

Kosuke is of a darker inclination with a personal style that's less classic yankī and more punky emo, so I think Kuromi is a natural fit. I like it also because it draws a parallel to Primrose, they're both Akio/White Lily's closest confidants on either side of their life.

Ichiro gets Badtz-Maru. What can I say, he's the edgy showboaty one who wants to be the boss. They honestly kinda look alike, too.

I wasn't sure about Noboru at first, but upon reflection I think Keroppi is perfect. They both have that energetic and adventurous attitude and youthful naivety. Plus, red and green compliments.

🛏️ What does your OC’s bed look like? What would they like their bed to look like?

Akio Abe: A simple bed. Covers are a bit sloppy, he tends to not make it too often. Has some bike magazines at the foot of the bed with some sticky notes poking from the pages. When Primrose comes around she sleeps while perched on the headboard.

Kosuke Aoki: Large, dark wood frame, very ornate. Fine linens that are a bit too clean (because of the maids) and various shades of desaturated blue. He keeps his bag with his bat under his bed when he's home.

Ichiro Kobashi: His sheets and blankets are pale from repeated washes and wrinkled from no ironing. Platform bed (i.e. those ones that don't have a head or footboard) with storage drawers under it. The top cover is an old quilt he and his sister made together.

Noboru Himura: He snacks in bed, okay, there's fucking crumbs everywhere. Some manga volumes too. There's a lamp attached to the headboard for that reason. Metal bedframe.

Daichi Sugiyama: Big, thick floor futon. His blanket is purple with a scale pattern. He has a duck plushie. Surprisingly comfy all things considered.
