On This Day in Avatar....Korra felt alone. This is definitely one of the more powerful episodes of the series, chronicling Korra's journey over the past three years as she attempts to recover from her physical and mental scars. This episode is Janet Varney's favorite episode, as well as one of Michael Dante DiMartino's favorites to write. It was also the People's Choice Winner for "Best Television Episode" in IGN's Best of 2014 for television. As someone who this episode hits close to home for, I also appreciate how it shows the feelings of those around Korra.
