A little kindness goes a long way.
Sometimes you are at the Kimbap Snack Stand and you finish your 1,000won snack and try to pay with coins when you realize that you only have 900won. As you reach for your 10,000won bill, the woman next to you asks how much the bill is and then pulls out a 1,000won for you. Though you try and give her your measly 900won she just keeps pushing your hand away.
You then hurriedly down your fishcake broth and bow a few pitiful thank you bows and scurry out of the protective plastic enclave that is the glory of standing snack stands in Korea.
How did she know you were avoiding the atm in hopes of your ARC arriving and once again giving you the sweet relief know as an income?
