V + ~지 않다 - verb pattern used to negate verb

~질 않다 - used for extra emphasis on negated action

새롭다 - to be new

~은/는 - topic particle

평범하다 - to be normal, to be ordinary, to be common, to be average, to be plain

V + ~ㅁ/음 - ending used to turn verbs into nouns

특별하다 - to be special

뭐 - what, something

~가/이 - subject particles

다르다 - to be different, to be dissimilar, to be distinct

V + ~(으)니까 - because (of)...; typically used to provide a reason for an excuse being given (if not just being the excuse itself)

그렇다 - to be like that/that way, yes/no

Translation: Isn’t it obvious, baby? / This is a brand new me, baby / Ordinary? No, no, I’m special (eh eh) / There’s something different about me (That’s right)

그 - that

V + ~ㄴ/은 - used to turn verbs (typically descriptive verbs) into direct modifiers (aka adjectives)

느낌 - feeling, sense, sensation

그런 - such, like, that kind of

것 - thing

~보다 - “than” comparison particle used to compare two things (ex.: 계란빵보다 붕어빵이  맛있어./붕어빵은 계란빵보다 맛있어. - Bungeoppang/Carp bread is tastier than gyeranppang/egg buns.)

NOTE: If you were to say “x is ___ than y” in English, in Korean you would put the “y” before ~보다 and the “x” after it.

더 - more, further, farther, another, again, some more

완벽하다 - to be perfect, to be flawless, to be immaculate

어떤 - how, what, which

말 - word, language, speech

~(으)로 - means by which/method and/or direction particle (think: “toward,” “by,” or “for” depending on context)

~도 - too, also, even

부족하다 - to lack, to have a shortage, to be insufficient, to have a deficiency

Translation: Only in your imagination / Do I seem like a work of art (Feelin’) / I’m far more perfect than something like that / Words can’t even fully express it

화려함에 담긴 청순함이 도도함에 담긴 순수함이 처음부터 끝까지 모든 게 다 멈추질 않아 내 아름다움이

화려하다 - to be fancy, to be showy, to be splendid, to be impressive, to be glamorous

담기다 - to be filled with, to be bottled up, to hold in

청순하다 - to be innocent, to be pure/have purity

도도하다 - to be haughty, to be arrogant, to be proud, to be conceited, to be stuck-up

순수함 - to be genuine, to be pure, to be innocent

처음 - beginning, start, first

~부터 - “from (this point onward)” particle (counterpoint of ~까지)

끝 - end

~까지 - up to/until particle (counterpart of ~부터)

모든 - all, every, whole, entire

게 - thing, contraction of 것이

다 - all

멈추다 - to stop, to halt

~의 - possession particle [내 —> 나 + ~의]

아름다움 - beauty

Translation: The beautiful innocence in glamor / The striking purity in arrogance / From top to bottom, every single thing about me / My beauty simply can’t be topped

태어나다 - to be born

V + ~ㄹ 때 - when…

Translation: So do it like me / Na na na na / Just like me, baby / Ever since birth, beauty is me

Translation: This beauty, beauty is me yeah (x3) / This beauty, yeah, beauty is me

아름답다 - to be beautiful, to be gorgeous, to be lovely, to be pretty

~니 - informal/casual question ending

인정하다 - to acknowledge, to admit, to recognize, to accept, to concede

V + ~ㄹ/을 - used to turn verb into future tense modifier (ex.: 먹을 음식 - the food that will be eaten)

美 (미) - beauty

끝없다 - to be endless, to be boundless, to be eternal, to be infinite, to be never-ending

V + ~는 - used to turn verbs into present tense direct modifiers (ex.: 먹는 음식 - the food that I am eating)

맘 - heart, mind, feeling; contraction of 마음

~을/를 - object particle

훔치다 - to steal, to swipe

하모니 - harmony

어쩌다 - to be by chance, to be accidental, to be done somehow, to be occasional

V + ~ㄹ/을 수 없다 (to not have, to not exist, to be without) - to be unable to do

V + ~ㄴ/은/는 만큼 - as much as .../to the point of being..., as long as...

Think of this as an adverb phrase of sorts since it’s used to describe another verb when 만큼 is sandwiched between two verbs [(ex.: 많은 만큼 필요없어. - I don’t need [as] much. 

NOTE: This is not the most natural way to say that; I used this specific wording, though, to help illustrate this point since those are very common words that are most likely very familiar to you.

다 - all, almost

내리다 - to fall, to come down, to get off, to leave, to go down

놓다 - to release, to let go of, to lay, to put, to place

솔직하다 - to be honest, to be truthful

V + ~게 - used to turn descriptive verbs into adverbs

말하다 - to speak, to tell, to talk

Translation: You think I’m pretty? Go head, admit it cuz I know I am / My eternal beauty / Is a siren song that’ll steal your heart / I can’t control myself / Can’t help but drive you wild / Just be honest with yourself— This beauty is 100% me

뜨거운 불길 속에 갇혀버린 느낌 (Feel'in) 난 매일 춤을 춰 뜨겁게 Yeah 언제까지나 On & on

뜨겁다 - to be hot/heated, to be burning up, to be passionate

불길 - flame, blaze

갇히다 - to be shut/locked in/up/away, to be confined

V + ~버리다 (to throw away, to dump, to abandon, to leave, to give up) - verb pattern used to indicate one has finished/done something to completion

매일 - everyday, daily

(춤을) 추다 - to dance (lit. - to dance a dance)

언제까지나 - as long as one likes, eternally for any length of time, forever and ever, for good, indefinitely

Translation: Feels like I’m surrounded / By a burning hot blaze (Feelin’) / Day in & day out, I dance passionately yeah / Forever and ever, on and on

따르다 - to follow, to go after, to tag along, to heed, to obey, to comply

하다 - to do, to have

V + 보다 (to see, to look, to watch, to gaze, to witness, to catch sight of, to spot) - verb pattern used to say “to try to ___”

그렇게 - so, like that, in that manner/way

천천히 - slowly

~에게 - “to/toward” & giving (as in giving something to someone/something) particle (나에게 → 나+ ~에게)

빠지다 - to fall, to deflate, to drain

Translation: Follow me, follow me, just do what I do / Yes, just like that, do it like (do it like) me / Slowly but surely, you’re falling for me / Ever since you first saw my face

반짝이는 빛 내 눈빛처럼 미로 같은 길 내 손길처럼 처음부터 끝까지 모든 게 다 멈추질 않아 내 아름다움이

반짝이다 - to glitter, to sparkle, to twinkle

빛 - light, gleam, ray, twinkle, flash, beam, glimmer

눈빛 - the expression (lit. gleam/glitter) in one’s eyes

~처럼 - like, as if

미로 - maze, labyrinth

길 - street, way, path, road, route

손길 - touch

Translation: My gaze sparkling like shining diamonds / My touch a winding maze to get lost in / From top to bottom, everything about me / My beauty just cannot be topped

~인 - attaches to nouns in order to prep them to be modified by a following verb/verb phrase; contracted form of 이는 (이는 → 이다 + ~ㄴ/는)]

~ㄴ/는 것 같다 (to be the same/identical/similar) - to seem that... /”it seems that…”; used to express speaker’s guess about something they experience/that is happening to them

오랫 동안 쓰를 안 했어서 갑자기 하고 싶어요. 오늘 여기에 재미있는 하루 보냈고 가족들과 함께 하루종일 시간을 보냈어요. 그래서 기분이 정말 기뻐요.

방금 “Twilight Saga – Breaking Dawn Part 1” MnetAction에서 마쳤어요. 제 동생이랑 봤어요, 솔직히 이 영화는 벌써 네번 봤어 그리고 앞으로 다섯번 더 볼 수 있을 것 같아요. 제 생각은요.  이 영화는 딱 좋아요, 사랑스러운 느낌있어요.

그게 다죠. 네일부터 많이 바쁠거예요, 학생생활 참 어러워요!!! >.< 아무튼 열심히 공부 해야 돼요 ~ ^(^_^)^

I really love onomatopoeia ^^ today I read a poem that reminded me of the awesomeness of onomatopoeia and then I though to myself its so strange that I have not bothered to ever do research on Korean onomatopoeia.

Pfffft.

What kind of Korean learner does that?!

So I went and found it out :D and since right now its raining a lot and I though in English we have "rain drops" think Korean and you get >.>
