Sasori values Konan a great deal, more than he’ll admit.  Although things from her past can make a large divide between them, he often looks to her for advice on emotions, new scenarios, or his uncertainties.  He is aware that, despite his personal outlook that he lacks human sympathies, she is far less emotional than he is.  He fears she does not value him as much as he does her.  He hopes for a calmer future, a closer friendship, between the two.
