hinazumi: all you have to do is watch/read mahiru’s free time events, and you’ll see it. mahiru develops the biggest damn crush on hinata, and it’s absolutely precious. check them out if you don’t believe me! it happens in island mode, too. she’s constantly blushing and getting flustered and acting like a big ol’ tsundere.

kazukoi: there’s a decent faction of people who support her with souda, and i agree this ship has the potential to be cute! it would start off a little rough, with souda being a dumb boy and mahiru constantly scolding him for it, but over time they could start to understand each other more and things could develop from there!

those two are not unheard of when it comes to mahiru. but if you wanna talk rare pairs…

mahidam: yes, that’s right. i totally ship mahiru and gundam. why? well, mostly thanks to roleplay shenanigans. but hear me out. she thinks he’s totally weird at first, but if they actually get the chance to talk at all, she’ll realize that he’s sweet and lonely and can actually be very kind and caring. and he’ll definitely appreciate her headstrong attitude! and when it gets down to it, they’ll both become complete blushing messes, and boy it would just be cute as heck.

kuzumi: again, thank you roleplay. listen, just picture mahiru and fuyuhiko arguing and bickering like crazy (that part isn’t hard to imagine) but somehow these moments accidentally slip in when they’re like “oh no you’re cute?” and then whoops, a crush develops. now you’ve got two total tsunderes desperately denying the fact that they have a big dumb crush on each other, and probably bickering even more to cover it up, and blushing ridiculously along the way, and oh god i’m just such a sucker for enemies –> lovers it just gets me every time man

as for the obvious (and most popular) mahiru ship…i’m really not a fan of her and hiyoko being paired romantically. it bothers me for a lot of reasons. i have trouble shipping hiyoko with anyone because she’s so childlike.
