私がbloodthirsty butchersの存在を知ったのは非常にお恥ずかしい話ですが今から3年前の事、スウェーデン産の音楽再生記録SNSのlast.fmで誰かがクチバシを付けたシュールなアーティスト写真の彼らを再生履歴に記録している人が居て名前を知ったのがきっかけです。
4人組のアーティスト写真の中にいる女性は私が元々よく聴いているNumber girlの田渕ひさ子さんだと言うことも分かりアルバムを一通り聴いてみたいと思ったのがキッカケです。
その中で最もよく聴いているアルバムが「Kocorono」になります。
2月から12月まで並べられたタイトルを見て(最初は1月は何処にあるんだ？と思ってしまいましたが ) これはコンセプトアルバムなんだなと思ったり、発売年数を見ると1996年と記されてもうそんなに昔なのか…と思ったり、今でも古さを感じることなく聴けるアルバムだと思っています。遅くなってごめんなさいでもまだ何か間に合ったようなそんな気持ちで今後も聞き続けていきたいと思います。こんなにシンプルに自分の気持ちを歌ってくれるなんて感激です。ありがとう。
I thought I'd lost my copy of Kocorono for months. I was ready to drop 70 bucks on a replacement copy until it showed back up this morning. :) I think it's worth going to Japan just to buy CDs and books at every book off
