Fresh salmon, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber are wrapped in seasoned sushi rice and nori seaweed to make these Kobe Jones sushi rolls. They are a delicious mix of flavors and textures.
Ingredients: 4 sheets nori seaweed. 2 cups sushi rice, cooked and seasoned with rice vinegar. 200g fresh salmon sashimi, sliced thinly. 1 avocado, thinly sliced. 1 cucumber, julienned. Soy sauce, for dipping. Pickled ginger, for serving. Wasabi, for serving.
Instructions: On a bamboo sushi mat, put a sheet of nori. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, making sure to leave a 1-inch edge at the top. In the middle of the rice, line up slices of salmon, avocado, and cucumber. Using the bamboo mat to roll the sushi tightly, wet the top edge with water to seal the roll. With a sharp knife, cut the roll into 8 equal pieces. Do it again with the rest of the ingredients and nori sheets. Put soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi on the sushi rolls before you serve them.
