Katie Ohe is inspiration to me for her ability to still mentor after so many years. Her work is powerful and she knows no bounds in their creation. She has encouraged me and offers rich advice, whether about art, ways to look at art or about plants in the garden. She has an astounding work ethic. It would be a huge omission not to mention Katie.

This BnHA fic, Conversations with a Cryptid, is hands down one of the best pieces of writing I’ve ever read. This follows the events of Post-Kamino Ward, in which Izuku convinces All Might and the police to visit All For One in the hopes of learning more about his quirk. He finds out more than he ever expected, and what ensues is a chain of events rigged from the start.
Honestly, the expressive storytelling, the characterization and motivations of Izuku and other characters, and the worldbuilding are absolutely superb. I loved this fic to the very end. Definitely a must-read, along with its sequel, Kidnapping of a Cryptid.
