Don't piss here, piss there - benefit Compilation by Don't piss here, piss there: a JSR x-mas benefit compilation
my song "Hyphae" has been released as part of a compilation for support and financial relief for TRCCSSTR, a well famous (and not possible to name fully) indipendent project space in Berlin. The song was originally commissioned for the Eufonia 2020 festival. This is the description of the piece: "While you walk in here, an entire world is expanding under your feet. It is bigger, branched, hyperconnected and it is spreading out everywhere. It is not the internet, but its name, in english "Hyphae", comes from the Greek word for "web". Hyphae are unicellular filaments that originate from mushroom's spores. They spread for kilometers, for years, until they found other hyphae and the right biochemical conditions and their plant companion. Their life is still largely a secret, but what we can grasp is that they help to hold everything together, they take care of living and of dead beings, and they are always on the move. This piece you are hearing is an imaginative soundtrack for the hyphae spreading and moving and looking for allies, it is an imaginative beat of the circle of life and death itself."
