Why? Because its brain (the knowledge base) never changed. The world changed, but the AI didn't.

You think: "Let's make it save its own good answers." Good idea. But if you save everything, you also save its mistakes. Then it learns from its own lies.

We built a filter. Before any answer gets saved, three checks:

1. Can you prove it with a real document?

2. Is the link real?

3. Is this new information (not a duplicate)?

Result: The AI learns slowly but never gets dumber. It adds only good stuff.

The three tabs at the top of the "home page" can be modified (if you are so inclined to do so), so I've set my default home page to "following" and moved "For You" to the end, which means I am less likely to come across posts I don't want to see.

I've also added a few words to the "context" filter as well as the "tag" filter, which should also limit my accidental exposure to nonsense, tomfoolery, jackassery and other such knavery.

I still have the spoiler stuck in my head, but unless I repeatedly hit myself over the head with a baseball bat I am not sure what else I can do about that (and no -- I am not going to hit myself over the head with anything let alone a baseball bat. Partly because I don't own a baseball bat but also because I am aware of how much it would hurt and also my medical history suggests it would be indavisable)
