SO IT IS WRITTEN, SO IT SHALL BE.
The Knotscribe Fivefold, for @finalvortex. Knotscribes in general are solitary and shy creatures, speaking only in words they have collected over their lives - a vocabularic mosaic of mismatched pronunciation.
They are found collecting and cataloguing the books of the Library, trading for paper, ink and word with people they encounter while drifting across the great expanses.
It is said that Knotscribes are semidivine, or nephilim - the scions of fallen Scripteraphim and mortal lovers. Given how few of them there are, and how rarely they are seen, it is unknown how true this is. They are, however, extremely dangerous when provoked. Each of them has lived for millennia, and has a collection of perfectly-recalled Words to match with which they can call down the might of the Heavens on any attacker.
Fivefold themself is a travelling purveyor of sensory data - they can sell you scents and sights with ease, but can also provide such things as the sensation of time passing, of proprioception, pain, temperature or magnetoreception. Senses the buyer didn’t originally have, from the breeze on a nonexistent tail to the sight of radio waves tend to be rather confusing, however.
