im so upset,,, the cardigan i spent weeks making is way too big for me and looks ridiculously bad on me. it was my first one too and im actually proud of how it came out i just cant wear it which is whats so upsetting :(. i really poured my heart into this project. I might just give it to my boyfriend for christmas instead since hes so tall and seems to like it. I’m rlly sad :(

Four Hours. Four Freaking Hours. I have been trying to learn the Latvian Braid cast on for the last Four Melon-Thumping Hours. I think I may have actually succeeded, and am ready to move on to the body of my work...
Only to find that the cat has chewed through my working yarn.
I give up. I’m gonna go mow the lawn or something. I can’t cast this on again right now.

I’ve been working on a test knit for my mug cozy for probably a month, picking it up and putting it back down. The intarsia was a slow process, since I designed the color changes based on my own visual likes rather than ease of knitting. I’d also never done intarsia knitting before this.
