Ok seeing that youre ok with other ships..... serious question.... does Fern indulge Killer by actually responding back to his occasional flirting?
Yep, exactly ! We’re used to seeing characters get annoyed by Killer's flirting (honestly, fair) but Fern actually finds it pretty funny and cute. She plays along by trying to be just as smooth as him, Killer is basically her "rizz teacher" ! They have these little back-and-forth flirting matches from time to time. Killer is also super touchy with everyone, and she doesn’t mind at all since she’s the same way.
The day he actually tries to flirt with her seriously though, I’m pretty sure Fern won’t even realize it and will just think he’s still "messing around" with her. She’s pretty dense... They’re really similar to the couple dynamic in the manga "You and I Are Polar Opposites" (platonic or romantic). One of them is super cheerful, energetic and social, while the other is calm, introverted and not very expressive. And somehow, they work !
