When Fern teases him about little harmless things, yeah, he can get a little flustered and blush.
Otherwise, itβs when she chews on the end of her pen while working next to him. Or when she gracefully brushes one side of her veil aside, like sheβs tucking a strand of hair back into place.
Just... simple gestures. That does little things to him.

I often think about the name "Murder Time Trio" and I was wondering what it would be like for the quartet when Fern is with them ? I really like their dynamic where thereβs neither a "brain" nor an "dumbass" of the group, but where all four bring different and very useful ideas to the table depending on the type of mission and situation. So, after thinking about it, I came up with "Lethal Time Quad". I dunno, kinda like it !

Ok seeing that youre ok with other ships..... serious question.... does Fern indulge Killer by actually responding back to his occasional flirting?
Yep, exactly ! Weβre used to seeing characters get annoyed by Killer's flirting (honestly, fair) but Fern actually finds it pretty funny and cute. She plays along by trying to be just as smooth as him, Killer is basically her "rizz teacher" ! They have these little back-and-forth flirting matches from time to time. Killer is also super touchy with everyone, and she doesnβt mind at all since sheβs the same way.
The day he actually tries to flirt with her seriously though, Iβm pretty sure Fern wonβt even realize it and will just think heβs still "messing around" with her. Sheβs pretty dense... Theyβre really similar to the couple dynamic in the manga "You and I Are Polar Opposites" (platonic or romantic). One of them is super cheerful, energetic and social, while the other is calm, introverted and not very expressive. And somehow, they work !
