yes to all of that!! i feel compelled to reply and say that i love sarah jane to death and in no way think she's like diana haha i just find it interesting that "exes" are the method in question in both ships.
for me rose and the doctor are way more ambiguous, though msr are too! i really love that we don't have to weigh the relationship by the amount of kiss/sex scenes to know that both ships are genuinely in love in every way. it feels deeper than that. the only thing that i sometimes hyperfixtate on in the middle of the night with rose and the doctor is that "you're not?" response when rose is alluding to jackie's pregnancy in doomsday. there's something in the way dt delivers it for me, but i absolutely love that we never know for sure! the fun is in the uncertainty

yeah, so true. i think it's more ambiguous partly because TECHNICALLY doctor who is a "children's show" so if they were having sex, they wouldn't show it anyway.
back in the day i really didn't like the idea that he thought she was pregnant w/ his child bc i didn't think that 1. she would play with him like that knowing he'd lost kids before and 2. i just loved the idea of tentoo and rose having sex being the first time they ever had sex because i love yearning and there's so much meat (no pun intended) with their relationship being so different in pete's world etc and that final joining in every way would be so fulfilling.
but now i'm like. now as an adult. looking at it more through how the doctor would've been feeling in that moment if he were trapped in another dimension from rose AND their unborn child... and omg it's so delicious. we know that the doctor is a good person, but he can absolutely be insane when he's pushed too far and if she had been pregnant...dsjknjkdsndsjkn ten would've broken the world i KNOW it. delicious fr.
but like you said, we'll never know so we can just think abt it 1000 dif ways and that's why it's SO FUN.
