Then raiding is the main content. This is where you get the main gear, but you need a party. Sadly, you have to deal with the community, as you have to put up with their nonsense and let them take you on board to raid.

And raiding right now in Elsword still like this. To raid, you require good enchantment levels, but you also require good gear to enchant, and to get good gear, you require some of the elitist community to raid.

I continued playing Elsword, chasing this moving goalpost so that I could reach a point where I could raid a boss and do this end-game content. But I always knew that was a lie, since I am fighting an uphill battle with this game.

I had hoped that maybe if I continued spending time in Elsword, after a while, it would become clearer to me that this was a big waste of time. I was chasing a fantasy that was far out of my reach, and yet I kept going for it.

I got older, and I have to be real, as I do want to see the new content, and I need a good PC to handle the game when players unleash all their powers and stuff in raids and dungeons… I remembered daive or shaive or scyall told me I should quit playing Elsword.

And I remembered that Sura wanted me to continue playing even though I was getting nowhere and progress was coming to a halt. At the time, he wanted me to keep playing, and to keep playing is a losing battle. Unless I spend some cash to make this process a little better, even though it is not promised, I will not get anywhere.

I told Rin that I thought about deleting my Elsword account, and she suggested I don’t do that and simply leave the account there and forget about it. I suppose that can be a fitting way to end this saga that lasted about a decade of my playing.

I don’t want to quit, but I know if I don’t, I will feed back into this loop that will never end. I am not a raid slave like Scyall or Shaive and I did like playing Elsword back in 2013+, as I met some people when I played this game back then, and I can’t keep playing this game.

Some players will spend minutes, hours, days, and years playing the game and tell you it is easy because it is all they do. If you keep up with the game and play nothing but this game, then yeah. This logic can apply to other games. Elsword was one game I never wanted to drop, but I might just have to, or I need to.

Because, unlike the other games, I can progress and do content without worrying too much about getting a super PC to run the game. Elsword is something else, but I believe it is time to end this odd cycle of pain I have been keeping alive.

I guess with Elsword, you need three things. Friends or connections in the Elsword community of elitist players to have parties in raids or farming. A good PC to run raids somewhat well, and a ton of time and money to have a chance at better enchantments and reforges or speed up the process.

And I can’t do it anymore, and I am doing this again for no one, really. And it is a shame I never found a guild to raid with. The [Blu] raid was going to “happen,” and nothing came of it. There were people that did ask to raid, but they waited so long that I don’t know, sadly, and I guess they waited too long. People did want to raid, but maybe this was a blessing in disguise for me. I don’t think [Blu] raids will happen, and if they do, neat.

And most people in the group could make or do their own raid party, or they used raid servers for that function, since it was better. Maybe sura wanted me to keep playing to see me get better, or maybe he had a reason. It’s not my place to figure it out.

I have never been fond of the Elsword community in NA, and I am sure they are not fond of anyone talking bad about them, so I think I can leave it there. Elsword is a mess of a game, and the community is not all bad. There is some good in the game, but the good gets drowned out by the bad.
