Ok gang, I got a couple of notes about the Owl photo. Some of you may have noticed that SunWendyRain  posted a very similar Owl photo this morning. The fact is, she and I were standing side by side when we took those photos yesterday morning.Â
So to those who think they stumbled on some kind of photo theft conspiracy, sorry. Â :))Â

I hope you like these Whooping Cranes I shot recently down the Texas coast a bit from where I live. They are magnificent birds, not as special as you maybe, but still pretty special. They were once dangerously close to extinction. Â
Thank you so much :)) Algy loves cranes especially – they are such beautiful, elegant birds, and very special indeed. But sadly they don't visit us here, so Algy is very glad indeed to see your wonderful photos of them on klemannlee. He wonders what their whooping sounds like, and hopes you may make a recording of them to share with us on Tumblr :)
