Mobile screws up numbered lists for some reason but viktuuri with the ice cream one?
5.) my five year plan is to maybe go out for ice cream this afternoon? (Live every day like the ice cream store is closing.)
âAlright, soâŚthe Rostelecom Cup ends on the 21st,â says Yuuri, pouring over two different calendars, the ISU Official Season Schedule, Viktorâs Aeroflot Platinum Membership Card, and a laptop open to Discord where Phichit Chulanont is spamming the â#SKATE_IS_LIFEâ chat with memes. âAnd Skate Canada starts on the 27th. We have time to come back to Saint Petersburg, so I think we should, because the Cup of China starts five days after Skate Canada and I think weâre going to have to go right to Beijing, since I donât want you to be jetlagged for your short program.â
âUh-huh,â says Viktor, drawing hearts and poodles on a corner of his planner. The only thing heâs written down so far is âNational Bologna Dayâ below the date October 24th.
âThen weâve got a pretty long break before Skate America,â says Yuuri, scribbling something onto one of the calendars. âAnd I was thinking we could go see my parents for a few days, sinceââ
âYes,â Viktor says immediately. âLetâs do that.â He flips to somewhere in November and writes âMAMA AND PAPAâ with a green gel pen.
âAnd then after Skate America, we have ten days to go back to Saint Petersburg, get ready for the Finalâassuming one of us is in itâand go back to Japan, andââ
âHey,â says Viktor, sitting up all at once from his luxurious slump against the half of the table that isnât taken up by the physical manifestation of Yuuriâs neurosis. âDo you want to go get ice cream?â
Yuuri looks up over his glasses. âIâmâŚlactose intolerant.â
âDo you want to get froyo?â Viktor says instead, raising his eyebrows to a pleading latitude.Â
âBut we havenât even gotten to Nationals yet,â Yuuri says, looking down at his calendar and tapping the week of Viktorâs birthday, which Yuuri has underlined and labeled âHELL WEEKâ in red marker.
âItâs July,â Viktor whines. âWe should by enjoying our summer, not panicking over how many days we have to get from Canada to China in November.â
âI donât think youâre taking this seriously enough,â says Yuuri shaking his head. âThe I.S.U is obviously trying to pull someâsome bullshit with giving us completely different Grand Prix events, andââ
âSo wouldnât it be just a kick in the face,â says Viktor, as he reaches out and takes Yuuriâs hand, pulls the pencil out, and closes the lid of the laptops. âIf we didnât worry about it? If we justâŚmade it look fucking easy?â
Yuuri sighs, and Viktor can tell that heâs not totally on board, but that he also sees that Viktor has a point.Â
âHow can you be so calm about this?â Yuuri mutters, moodily flipping the pages of his planner. âIâve been worrying about this since last December.â
âWell, I donât know if you know this,â Viktor says, winking, âbut Iâm a very impulsive person. I once moved to a different continent to tell a boy I loved him.â
âDid the boy fall for it?â Yuuri murmurs, tilting his head.Â
âWhat a stupid boy,â Yuuri says, and Viktor laughs into their kiss.
âWill you get froyo with me?â Viktor asks, already rising to go find his shoes.
âFine,â says Yuuri, âBut you better find a place with good flavors.â
âSweet potato isnât a normal flavor, Kitten.âÂ
