INKTOBER2017 #24 - Kivut, the Mi-Go
As promised, I deliver. Today Mi-go - an representative of the alien species knows also as The Fungi of Yuggoth or the Outside Things - is not a nameless one, but a character of @gossamerskulls, a lovely and fierce follower of my work on Tumblr. Kivut is an unusual specimen, with some minor distinction in the body build, with much smaller pincers than the rest of its brethern and more sinous body. Wing shape is also slightly different and thinner, carrying it none the less effortlessly on the winds of ether. Today I struggled a bit with drawing, due to changing of light in my place. I moved from warm, 4000 kelvin bulbs to cold 6500 kelvin bulbs due to the nature of them not shifting colors off. Of course as I spent years in the previous light such shift made some impact on my performance, but hey, I will get used to the cold, surgical light and I am sure I can bring my A+ game in no time!
