I often get asked what my favourite flowers are. A few month ago I wouldn't know the answer to this question. After all flowers are just plants. Well, not anymore.

You would probably think they are red. Maybe you would even be right in some kind of way but for the most part, you'd be wrong.

I wasn't sure in the beginning. It's circular form confused me. Still I got lost in the ocean waves of its petals. They're gentle and calming. They never fail to drown me in its cool deep colour and to be honest I don't mind. Sometimes I wish nothing brought me back to the surface. Because each time I ache for another second of being trapped in its navy blue embrace. But we don't always get what we want. In the end it's not that bad. Here I can see its stem. Once in a while I get captured by the way it moves their leaves. I wonder if they're as warm as they look...

I hate to leave but from the distance they look like thousands of bright stars proudly shining among this Universe. Though they look more blue now. As I give them last smile and turn around, strangely I get a feeling of an endless void expanding behind my back. Still I'm leaving to protect the Flower I love the most.

My absence lasted longer than I thought. On my way home anxiety catches my mind and I can't help but wonder how they've been. Did they miss me? Are they alright? When I return they still glow the brightest. Or maybe they've lightened up because I'm here? I shake off this thought before I can feel heat in my chest. We're coming home. My precious Flower. My single dark Forget-me-not.
