Un seul En ce début de mois d'août en Arctique, on a vu qu'un seul iceberg en 15 jours. Seul et unique, il en valait la peine. Évidemment toutes les places étaient déjà prises ! . Kittywake in Westman Islands by Frosti Gíslason http://ift.tt/1K11nnc
Activities (Grand Cayman)
Sting Ray City- Located off the coast of the main island, String Ray City flourishes on a shallow sand bar in the middle of the ocean. These gentle giants love to caress and take treats (squid), from visitors. The larger, bolder rays are female and the smaller, shyer ones are male.
Star Fish Point- Close to Sting Ray City, Star Fish Point is a small speck of an island surrounded by green algae, which is what attracts the cushion star fish.
Diving- The diving is phenomal. While there are many reefs to be explored, the main highlights are the wall dives located by the Cayman abyss or drop off. The other hit is the Kittywake wreck. This ship was gutted and sunk on purpose five years ago. Divers can explore the bowels of the ship, find the captain’s steering wheel and take a selfie in the eerie mirror covered bathroom.
Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Park- Home to the blue Iguana, the botanical park has sixty plus acres of flora and fauna. The blue Iguana population on the island is about one thousand, but in this park these prehistoric looking creatures roam freely and are quite abundant.

Hello again! I'm bored with blonde/silver hair now so thinking of going a light pinky reddish colour. This is the kind of the colour (and possibly cut) I'm going for: (Won't let me link - see PM). I was thinking that maybe mixing a little Wella Koleston 55/65 or 66/55 with 10/1 might work to get a nice colour, but what ratios do you think would be best? Or do you have a better suggestion to get a good colour approximation? THANKS
hello!
Honestly, I think spending money on koleston for this would be a waste. You'd be better getting a purple and a pink (for that exact colour) veg dye and mixing a touch of each with lots of white conditioner and apply on your already silvery hair. Should work!
Hi there, I was reading your silver/grey tutorial and I was wondering if you could give me more info on your ratios? I too got the Koleston greys and ended up with green hair as I used way too much 0/11! It was a nice colour, just not what I was after. So, when you used 60ml of developer, did you use 30m of 0/11 and 30ml of 0/81? Did you use a blonde base colour? I used 10/01 which is very light which I used as a "carrier" for the colour as I didn't want to risk using just the special mix.
I had a green tint after about three washes, and used a red toner to balance it out, I am told you can even use ketchup (a hair colourist told me this!) I think using more of the 0/81 and just a touch of the 0/11 is the best way to go, I wouldnt use half and half again, though it did fade in about two weeks to the perfect colour.
Yes I used 30ml of each and had white blonde hair as a base, but didnt need it as I used a strong (too strong really) developer. I could have used a 10 vol and been fine.
Just using the special mix is fine, they are only dye like any other, the only reason they are called special mix is because they are supposed to be used for toning other colours, for example making blondes cooler. 10/8 might be better if you wanted to use a blonde base since its alot more grey/ashy. Ash colours are green bases though, so you know to be careful!
Having looked at the 10/8 reminds me actually!
Here is the turorial that turned me onto koleston. I wanted a darker steel grey so used the 0/81, but depending on the shade the writer of that tut/showoff used
50 % 10/8 +25% 12/81 +25% 0/81 silver
Hope this helps!
I am sure you could just use the 0/11 to get a silvery tone without the steel.
From where?
I just read a good friend of mine’s self evaluation on her own writing and creation or graphic novels.
It’s nice to know its not just me who is over critical and has a habit of ripping my work to shreds, but as I was reading, it turns out that the logic of crying for you work, or any creation can be applied to anything, from your own art to your job or more importantly to me; my children.
I was told once that John Lennon said ‘life is what happens when you make plans’ and things like this ring in my ears after I try to write my stories or even get something as (what should he simple) as getting my point across, but I guess what I’m saying here is, when you have an idea about what you want to happen, and how you want it to be, that everything else in the universe seems to either get in the way, or transgress the end design. Sometimes this can be a blessing, a gift (wrapped in an un-decipherable enigma…) or a massive problem, so getting upset for your creations and thus, being passionate for them, simply shows your enthusiasm, your determination and dedication.
And this is, and will always be, one of my favourite qualities in anyone.
One love.
