This year has been absolutely fucking bonkers, and I’d love to talk all about it but I’m making this post for a real specific reason

In the beginning of October my magnificent stupid cat Spook hurt himself, he somehow managed to cut his cornea all the way back, it basically popped his eyeball.

Because of this, the risk of infection was high and the chance of him seeing again was nil, I made the decision to have the eye taken out, if it had remained as it was his brain would have kept feeding fluid to the eye until it couldn’t keep up and he would have had what basically amounts to an aneurysm and died.

The surgery cost $1400, luckily my boyfriend was a long time client of our vet ( I however am not) and was able to arrange a payment plan.

I managed to pay off half of it, however I was laid off the beginning of this month and barely had any in October, the bills are piling up and I can’t even begin to say how much it pains me to admit this

I need help.

I will not regret giving my cat the care and treatment he desperately needed however it has left me with $700 to go, plus rent, plus every other expense I have.

I’ve been lucky in that my boyfriend has been paying for damn near all of my bills, however it’s come to a point where neither of us have money, I’m a broke college student and I am so scared that if this keeps up I won’t be able to finish my program.

So here I am asking for help.

I’m looking to raise the other $700 owed for Spook’s surgery, however any little bit helps!
