((So I definitely won't be around tonight. We were talking about taking Simba in tomorrow or Wednesday instead of waiting until Friday, but she chose to go around 8 this morning. She was as comfy as possible, given her situation, and she was snuggling with my sister when she went. So at least she didn't have to deal with another vet trip, which she absolutely hated, anyway. But, yeah, I'm just glad she's not in pain anymore and that she got to be snuggled while she went ❤️

On International Cat Day I have to highlight all the black cat love, with my precious little Xaden. This is just a small snapshot of the almost 2 years I've had with him (so far). And my chill panther is my baby. We love him completely.
Copying over from my instagram, the post I made for precious little Xaden on International Cat Day (August 8th). He turned two years old back on June 23rd. (Or at least that's when we celebrate his birthday because the shelter estimated he was born "somewhere around the latter part of June of 2023" -- so he gets the 23rd as his birthday.)
I will officially have been his cat mom, and he would have been in my life, for two years come September 26th. I wouldn't change anything. This baby is everything to me.
Kitty update number 2: she likes criminal minds🙂↕️ she watched it with me for at least 5 minutes last night (that’s a lot for a kitten). I can’t tell who her favorite is, we’ll find out soon enough

it’s been almost 3 months (?!?!) since I moved and I’m already slowly but surely planning out how to decorate each room to make it feel like home lol. easier said than done. the kitties and myself appreciate all the extra space, and arguably, the cats have been getting on a lot better as they’re not ontop of one another.
the new job is going .. okay. im not sure if its for me just yet. the whole reason i so desperately wanted to leave my last job was because of the lack of progression and opportunity to earn more money. unfortunately I brought into the dream i was sold when being offered this job that those opportunities existed, when in matter of fact, I really don’t think they do 🫡 the training for the job is a bit intense, so ive promised myself to persevere until I actually get some physical experience in the job and make my decision then. (also because looking / applying / interviewing for jobs is so incredibly tedious).
but ig in the grand scheme of things, I’m heading in the right direction. i have achieved 2/3 new years resolutions - move into a bigger house and get a new job. buuuutt… the caveat of finding a new job was that I wanted to be happy. so I can’t say that’s fully ticked off just yet. we’ll see how it goes!!
