My Sakura doll arrived today! I washed her, and she looks great! She's hard to photograph though... her nose disappears a lot! She initially had a funky cowlick, but I fixed it. She'd looked half bald in the listing images, but she's just thinly rooted.
Unfortunately, her ankle has a wire that looks like it's about to pop out.
I don't think she's actually ever been undressed, except for her pinafore and shoes, which weren't included. The outfit is a nightmare to get on and off over her rubbery body. It's a shame, since I was really looking forward to dressing her up in various outfits.
She's a weird size. Smaller than a Barbie, but larger than an AG Mini. I hear she's similar in size to a Snapstar doll, so I might buy one as a body donor. Due to this, I couldn't find any clothes that fit her well. *Sigh* Guess I'll just buy more CCS dolls so that they don't have to change.

For as clean as they looked and felt, Sakura's clothes were *nasty*. Dirt, dust, and something sticky was in the water I cleaned them in. No dye leaking though!
I poured hot water on Sakura's hair in an attempt to fix some of the fluff, but I think it'll need an actual boil. I really want to keep the slight curl through... I'll figure something out.
Her body's clean now, yet still tacky feeling. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Sakura shipped!! The estimated arrival date also moved up but I'm not crossing my fingers, because of mail delays.
Guess what!! I just bought a Cardcaptor Sakura doll off of eBay, and she should arrive by the 13th. Would any of you like to see posts about me attempting to restore her?
