Slade/Kitty!Tim for Honeydew tis all her fault... and warning it cuts off a little suddenly but it's looked like this since sunday so maybe posting this half will get me motivated to finish it
Tim hissed at the keyboard, it was really fucking hard too type with the delicate claws coming out of his fingers, and this was just ridiculous. Getting caught in that magical trap was one of the most embarrassing things he’d ever done. At least he’d managed to get away from the Titans and back home before the cat characteristics started sprouting. And since Dad and Dana were off somewhere it wasn’t like he had to worry much.
Apart from typing up this damn report.
And the claws weren’t the worst part. Tim glanced over at his mirror to see cat eyes, ears, fangs which were pretty cool, and the tail. Goddamn not stop twitching tail. At least he could hide everything easily. Which considering he was due for patrol… No. He was not going through that again.
As he’d snuck back into Gotham Tim had to deal with Poison Ivy trying to ensnare some politicians, Catwoman stealing some precious Egyptian artifact from the museum and the list went on. He also had the hair tingling feeling that most of the villains from last night had spotted some of his extra characteristics. It totally wasn’t Tim’s fault that the Penguin look so bird like and well…feline instincts had insisted that he pounce.
His cell phone chirped just then and Tim felt the growing dread of a man walking towards the gallows. He didn’t want to answer it, even if it did say Dick on the caller id, he just wanted to slink back to his bed and pretend none of this was happening.
“Yes, so glad I caught you Timmy,” and Dick really did sound happy which served it’s purpose in making Tim feel worse. “I need your help really bad.”
“Sure Dick, what can I do?” but my nice warm comfy bed.
“I’m stuck in Bludhaven but I heard Deathstroke is meeting with some gangs in Gotham tonight. I just need you to go see who, B wouldn’t work he’s not as good as you at just lying low and listening, and you’ll know better than to interfere with anything.
Slade?! Last time Tim had ended up fighting with Slade the mercenary he’d been back handed into a building, concussed in the process, then hog tied and forced to watch as Slade went through with the assassination Tim had been trying to stop.
“Dick, I’m not sure if that’s a good idea,” Tim hesitated, no it’s a really bad idea especially right now, but… “Where at?”
At least he blended in with the baggy clothing and hoody pulled tight over his twitching ears. Tim looked like every other low end gang member in the cheap club. It went without saying that Slade on the other hand stood out seeing as how he was in tight military issue black pants and his weapons were out in the open.
That and he was just sitting at the bar ignoring his whiskey. Not what Dick had thought he was there to do. Actually he was being really suspicious which wasn’t like the professional at all and he was making Tim really antsy at the same time.
It was close to an hour before Slade finally stood up stepping away from the bar and his still ignored drink. Tim moved quickly, finally stretching asleep muscles, keeping step as Slade disappeared through the back to the alley exit.
Waiting ten seconds Tim eased open the back door and stepped out into the dimly lit alley way, eyes skipping back and forth, looking for Slade. His transformed ears cocked forwards listening for any noise from the other man hair rising off the back of his neck.
“Well, well, didn’t I tell you what would happen next time I caught you spying on me Drake?” Slade’s voice purred abruptly into Tim’s ear, a large hand grabbing the back of Tim’s neck while a dagger pushed against the delicate skin at his throat. “You’re lucky I’m feeling generous enough for a quick death.”
Tim’s instinctual reaction had to have been the only thing that stopped Slade from pushing the blade in.
By which Tim mewled and fell limp into Slade’s body, really the fingers on his neck, baring his throat against the sharp edge of the blade. Tim had a split second of oh my god yes, reacting to the voice and the touch, and then his mind caught up to his body and Tim realized that he was rubbing up against a man who had promised to kill him next time they met and that he was purring.
Tim was spun around, breathe leaving him as he was shoved against the alley wall, and Slade was staring at him in bewilderment. It wasn’t every day that a vigilante started rubbing up against him. Which is why Tim was still alive, held at arm’s length by his neck, and eyed in burgeoning interest.
That was when Tim realized that his glasses had fallen off.
“Now this is a surprise.” Slade moved closer, reaching out to flip Tim’s hood away, grinning at the vigilante’s changed ears. “It looks like you might have run into some trouble Drake.”
“Let go of me.” Tim panted, now that the hand had moved away from the back of his neck and spine he could think again, but he wasn’t sure if he wanted that.
“Hmm. No.” Slade cocked his head and grinned sharply. He moved his hand, trailing fingers up Tim’s face, to trace the black furred ears watching as Tim shivered at the sensation.
Tim gazed helplessly up at him, huge blues eyes with the slitted pupil like a cat, ears moving flat against his head. Then he lashed out with the claws, ripping through flesh, hitting Slade’s upper arm and up across his chin. Legs coming up at the same time kicking at the hand tightening on his neck.
Slade whipped around, throwing Tim into the opposite wall, before grabbing Tim’s sweatshirt and pulling him up to smash back against the wall. Slade laughed, bouncing Tim’s head against the wall, easily dodging another swipe of the hard tiny claws.
Pushing back against the bricks didn’t help much either, Slade moved with him wrapping his arms tighter around Tim’s middle and squeezing, Tim bent over the arms clawing at whatever he could get his claws into.
It shouldn’t have been possible, wouldn’t except for his new grown tail, Tim leaning forwards attacking whatever parts of Slade he could get at when his tail slipped free of his pants and whipped backward against the front of Slade’s. For a guy any hit, no matter how light and pathetic, right there meant dropping everything and cringing.
Tim landed and all fours, heading whipping back to check on Slade in an instant of male sympathy, the single determined eye meeting his had him running. Racing down the alley on all fours, as instinct dictated, bouncing against dumpsters and using them to vault further ahead.
When the hand grabbed his tail pain was sudden and vicious and he was being dragged backwards by his tail. One hand grabbed the back of his neck, squeezing until Tim fell limp again, the other holding firmly onto the base of his tail, fingers rubbing against the swell of his ass.
And he was really limp, trying desperately to ignore the rumbling purr starting in his throat as Slade pulled him back, transferring the back of Tim’s neck from solid hand to teeth. Tim was in heaven at the sensation, still instinctually limp, but it felt so good and Slade was scratching at where the furry tail met smooth not actually scarred right there flesh.
“Ball of instincts aren’t you?” Slade laughed into Tim’s neck as the boy purred louder. “That would make it hard to fight.”
Tim didn’t bother listening, Slade’s words always had the tendency to make Tim want to punch him in the face, but his hands belonged to a god. A god very good at petting.
Slade laughed again, lifting Tim up and throwing him over a shoulder, one hand still scratching at the base of his tail and keeping Tim to preoccupied with purring in pleasure to swipe at any more flesh or try and take a bite out of him.
“I was going to just kill you,” Slade was all sorts of amused sounding, Tim’s tail wrapping around his arm, as he carried the vigilante off.
“Bassstard.” Tim hissed, he knew humans couldn’t purr their vocals cords weren’t right for that, and it was starting to feel weird talking. “Stop petting me and let me go.”
“Really?” Slade drawled hand slapping Tim’s ass as he bounced his shoulder. “And how quickly will you go for my throat when I do that?”
“Soon as my teeth can reach it,” Tim promised, pretending that no he wasn’t the one purring and rubbing against Slade’s back, hissing again at the next light slap.
“Not a very good reason to stop then.” Slade laughed again
