somehow clark gets catnip all over him so now he's got +1 zonked out kitty rubbing all over him and boy is it doing things to his body keke

HELLO MY FRIEND THANK U SO MUCH dude it hit me so hard i was gigglingggggggg bad for like an hour straight ehehe

BUT YWS OMG maybe he gets prescribed it for his anxiety and clark is gonna watch over him in case it hits him bad but he accidentally rips the bag and suddenly there's a silly giggly zooted kitty draped all over him just inhaling all deep and nuzzling against his chin to get closer

And eeeeppp Bruce having big pathetic cute doe eyes which he unconsciously uses on Clark, he's not aware that he's making himself more small and looking up at Clark with a sad tear filled Kitty look whenever he does something wrong and it melts Clark into goo against his will.

I hc that Bruce is very very quiet at the start of their tentative friendship/relationship, almost like he's selectively mute,not when he's Batman tho, but like he mostly converses with grunts and sad looks and Clark has to decipher what they mean,and when he does talk it's a bit stilted soft and stuttered and he feels embarrassed about it,even tho Clark never makes fun of him. He doesn't like yelling at all,it terrifies him. When they get deeper in their relationship stage, Bruce's favourite bonding activity with Clark is to sit on his older lover's lap and listen to him talk softly about his day.

this is so sweet and soft and perfect 🫶 i neeeeed kitty!bruce to just have the most gentle relationship ever with older!clark idc idc 🥺

like clark being totally comfortable with bruce using him like a pillow, even when he's full asleep as soon as he feels bruce lay out atop him his hands are coming uo and gently petting him until bruce is knocked out and snoozing all peacefully against his chest

and the doe eyes 🥹 gets clark (AND ME) e v e r y time, they're so impossible to resist. and doubly so because bruce so rarely asks for anything its like... clark will dig his way through the center of the earth and pop out the other side if bruce asks him to after giving him that look 🤭💞

AND YES omg i lovee selectively mute bruce ♡ i dont have much experience (first or secondhand or otherwise) so i probably wouldnt be comfy writing it more than just in hcs but oughhh it means so much to me... (〃´▽`) bruce is just so so quiet and always in his head. clark learning how to perfectly interpret him even If bruce gets more comfortable and speaks more.... waaaa

and yes omg no clark would NEVER raise his voice anywherr near his darling. i honestly hc that clark only ever yells when he's fighting as superman bahaha, otherwise in his day to day (esp noe that he's older) he's very calm and quiet like a distant and beautiful mountain

He handles him so gently when Bruce shifts back trembling like a leaf, convinced that he had ruined his relationship with the older man. But Clark is there calling him 101 petnames and sniff kissing him softly telling him that he would never leave Bruce over some arguments and that all the couples fight, it's natural. He's too sweet.

YESSS EXACTLY he's just so full of fear that he's just purely trying to Get Away even though logically he knows he's in safe place... but once he goes full kitty mode there's no logic only Run //nod nod

i think it takes a Long time for bruce to finally shift back too, even after he stops actively attacking clark.... once the stress is over i think he just ends up anxious that he showed this part of him off in the first place, which just keeps him in that low headspace

BUT YES eventually he shifts back, (and i imagine he kinda Forced it to happen, so it was a bit painful too) but he finally just wanted to 'get it over with' so clark can kick him out and he can go proverbially lick his wounds in peace, but he's SO surprised when clark? keeps petting him? and holding him all gently even though he's full sized again

i think bruce would take a while to think of what to say, heart beating a mile a minute when clark just keeps shushing him like "it's alright darling, i've got you, i'm not going anywhere" until bruce damningly starts Believing it... slowly wrapping his arms around clark's back and leaning into it and receiving a kiss in turn..... it definitely makes him tear up all over again

imagine tiny baby kitty bruce curled up to his parents dead bodies just mewing all heartbrokenly in that damn alley

or him having a panic attack when he's a little older (maybe while he's travelling feeling all lost) and the world is too Loud and he just ends up trembling hiding under a dumpster until he calms down and has to go find his clothes again

he runs into older!clark (literally), who was just stepping out of a corner store with a bag of snacks for the night. bruce all but collapses on him, exhausted, and clark ends up gathering him up and carrying him home because oh gosh he's actively bleeding and his face is all bruised and he must've just gotten mugged or something--
