BB-50 Kite-Moss
While most BeastBoxes tend to be small evolutions, gradually improving on the solidity of their transformations, posability, and gimmicks, on occasion they release a Box that’s meant to do something specific.
The Good: Like flex.
This Box is a flex. It is designed to show off how massive they can get one cube to be after transforming. And because of all the different tricks they utilize to pull it off, it leads to a pretty fantastic and interesting transformation, that’s not all that hard, either. This is a Box that you could probably figure out how to transform without needing instructions.
The Bad: It does lack quite a bit of posability compared to other Boxes, with good wings, but subpar neck, arms, and antenna. It does come with a stand adapter for easy display, but said adapter is loose on standard display pegs (I tried it with Figma, Gunpla, and Tensugu stands), and it doesn’t have a peg hole like other flying Boxes have had, making it hard to display.
Overall, a very interesting release that’s more novelty than most of the recent releases. That doesn’t mean I don’t recommend it, though, as if you’re new to the line this would probably make a great first-Box, doing a lot of transformation tricks while still remaining simple. Next release I’ll be talking about is part of their new combiner, so look forward to that~
