Think my hands might be swollen? #yikes #chronicinflammation I've started making false silver ring splints for myself again (something I came up with in 2011 before learning that, hey, there's a medical brace that looks just like this pretty jewelry I'm making, how about that! Oh, if this is a medical thing, maybe I should Not Make Those). It's to help me deal with my ongoing finger, wrist, and forearm pain. Lately, they've been mostly used to help keep me from clenching and curling my fingers up, which they want to do to cope with the stress they're under, but ends up adding to the tension. I can't wear them at work, but they're really helping me during my downtime.
