It had been a few days since Adriana had stepped foot in her own home. She was spending less and less time there, always being with Max. But when she decided she wanted to catch up with Kit, she made the plans at her place instead of the familiar home a few doors down. "How are you doing, hon?" She glanced over at the other, moving from the kitchen to a lounge chair in the living room as she spoke. "Things are... you know... and I worry about you, want to make sure you are taking care of yourself."

Kit had become a regular in Adrianas life. He was someone that she had grown to care deeply about in a short amount of time. It hurt her to see him hurting. With the loss of so many, Adriana understood the pain he felt. Carrying two cups of hot chocolate in her hands, she entered the living room of Maxs house. "I made you something to drink, hon." She outstretched her arm, offering the mug she was holding. "Did you want to talk about what happened?" Keeping her voice soft with him, she took the seat beside him on the couch.

"Oh, my beautiful niño!" Adriana walked towards Kit with her arms extended out towards him, putting her hands on the sides of his shoulders when she reached them. "You're married! How do you feel?" She searched for an answer on his face before they had a chance to say anything back to her. "You can tell me the truth too, if you're feeling overwhelmed or scared or happy out of your freaking body right now."

Carter had noticed right away that Kit and Kiyan had ended up paired together. Though he was secretly hoping that he'd get partnered up with Kit just to see his brother suffer, a part of him was glad that Kiyan actually had someone. "You got stuck with that grumpy dude, huh?" He teased him as he approached, "That's brutal."
