He chewed through his food slowly, allowing the taste of tuna linger on his tongue and the sound of Akechi’s voice linger in his ears. Nothing could’ve prepared him for being asked out like this, and though he isn’t one to turn down free food—lord knows he needs it—he can’t help feeling a bit on edge around his companion for the evening. Still, the prospect of free sushi was way too alluring for him to refuse, and he guessed that Akechi knew this, hence their position right now.
