The peace has come to an unexpected end ------.

All of a sudden, a mysterious fleet belonging to an unknown coalition appeared.

It consisted of many enormous battleships equipped with strange weapons.

Coming in contact with a completely different technology and civilization, mankind who knew nothing except their own existing intelligence attempts to face them in spite of being bewildered.

However, the crew members, who were supposed to be boarding those machines...... were missing.

Without warning, “they” bare their fangs.

 “They” have no need for crew members and such.

The machines, the battleships themselves were invaders with sentience of their own.

 Facing the differences of tactical and fighting strengths, humanity is driven to the wall to their wits’ end.

In that desperate war situation, mankind is going forward to the future known as “destruction”.

 And yet… … there is only a single hope left.

Among “them”, a very small number of “rebels”, who wished for co-existence, had successfully gotten in touch with mankind.

They change their appearance to small rings and entrust their hearts and power to worthy children.

Thus, this shall begin the final battle for the survival of humankind.

And finally, the world changes its shape

☐ The previous work, ‘Tsukino Empire’, delivered a spectacular space drama centred around the life or death battle between the human civilisation and  “them”, a mysterious opponent coming from the other side of the universe flying and who attacked mankind.

A human drama brought to its utmost limits, unfolding on the brink of destruction.

Among “them” there are rebels who took sides with the humanity.

And as a result of the interaction between humans and “them”, some mysterious yet cute beings called ‘spirit beasts’ took birth. 

Make sure to check the entire package for a spectacular final battle that engulfs everything.

Unleash your mind ⇑The previous work and the current work’s common English catchphrase

Both ‘Tsukino Empire’ and ‘Machine Elements’ kept the same English catchphrase.

The literal translation is “Release your spirit”.

In the previous work, these ‘keywords’ put emphasis on the interaction between mankind and “them”, who try to understand the human ‘spirit’ despite not possessing one of their own, and at the same time, these ‘keywords’ also refer to the bonds created by fighting side-by-side with comrades. 

However in the current work, the world is ruled by peace and “they” don’t exist.

Therefore, there is also no longer needed to fight (for now).

Then what on earth does ‘Release your spirit’ symbolize?

And also, what is its purpose?

And finally, the world changes its shape. ⇑’Tsukino Empire’’s Japanese catchphrase.

And finally, the world’s gears are turning. ⇑‘Machine Elements’’s Japanese catchphrase.

Initially both stage plays were meant to have the same Japanese catchphrase, but halfway in a few details have been changed.

“Changes its shape” embodied the destruction of the human society at that point, brought by the assault following “their” sudden appearance from the other side of the universe.

At the same time, it also represented the transformation of the world surrounding the hosts, who were one day suddenly chosen by the rings.

On the other hand, in this work, ‘the world’s gears’ are moving around.

Going with the flow of the previous work, it can be said that the world surrounding them is about to experience a drastic change. The story will begin to move from there but what we want everyone to focus on is the fact that “the world has gears”.

It has gears.

So that means that the world is…?

Machine Elements is kind of like a steampunk AU/play that TsukiPro wrote for AGF last year~!

The lore basically is how an old civilization with very advanced technology suddenly up and vanished, leaving all their technology behind. Thousands of years later, a new civilization came about and they’re completely baffled by the technology the old civilization left behind because it is way too advanced for their current civilization.

The remains of the old civilization were henceforth called [Ruins/Historic Ruins] and there are very many questions that need to be answered about how they work. No historic record remain of the old civilization and the earliest they could trace it back to was 3000 years ago. 

The guilds that are established in the current civilization all have their own thing going on in each of their bases but, because of certain events, they all started meeting and working with each other. 

With no records left behind from the old civilization, the current members of some of the Guilds work on uncovering the world’s mysteries! 

That’s basically it~! TsukiPro actually leaves it vague enough for people to continue adding to the lore in fanworks so, it’s kind of open-ended XD

MUTSUKI HAJIME

NAME: Mutsuki Hajime

GUILD: Six Gravity (※Guild master)

BASE: The Large Floating Ruins [Genbu]

☐ Master of the Six Gravity guild, he’s an enigmatic young man that appeared all of a sudden. He doesn’t talk much, but he certainly knows more than anyone else.

☐ He seldomly chooses to appear in public, and even though his attendance as a guild master is very requested, most of the times fellow guild members Haru or Aoi are sent as representatives instead. His usual activities are shrouded in mystery. He also provides eyewitness information for certain Ruins.

☐ He shows affection for his pet, ‘Kuro’, a bizarre creature that resembles both turtles and reptiles.

☐ It seems that the monocle covering his left eye is used for governing things that become too visible to the eye.

COMMENT

Hello, everyone. I’m Mutsuki Hajime. Once again, we have reached that time of the year renown for its joint stage-plays.

I’ve been given omnipotent roles and roles that were shrouded in mystery quite a lot of times, but this role has even stronger nuances in that sense.

He’s full of secrets. (laughs)

In particular, I’d like to see your surprised when the secret behind the beginning of this world is exposed.

The hint is that our base, ‘Genbu’ is different from any other ruins used for moving. …...Well, then?

YAYOI HARU

“Yes, your majesty.” PROFILE:

NAME: Yayoi Haru

GUILD: Six Gravity

BASE: The Large Floating Ruins [Genbu]

☐ A talented staff officer who took over the business operations in place of the guild master, Hajime, who usually doesn’t show up.

☐ It seems that all the Six Gravity members have been entrusted with parts of the SPIRIT of The Large Floating Ruins 「Genbu」by their master Hajime for emergency cases, and Haru in particular received a really important part. With that, they can apparently use one of ‘Genbu’’s functions even without having the guild master, Hajime, with them.

☐ He’s a strong young man, who gives off a gentle impression and who loves having tea in one corner of the garden above the floating ruins that serve as Six Gravity’s base. He treasures the floating ruins a lot, and he’s often seen calling out to ‘Aosa’. 

COMMENT:

I am Six Gravity’s Yayoi Haru.

It’s been a few years since Tsukino Empire. Now the after story is making its entrance on the stage! This is a complete change from the previous space-themed one. This time, the civilization is at a level where flying in the sky is only but a dream to them…...  what on earth happened? We~ll, the investigations are advancing! Personally, I love this ♪　All the members of the other units are less likely to meet with the Gravi members on stage until the last part of the story, but we plan to get along with everyone with all we’ve got while at the rehearsal studios! I hope everyone will enjoy ‘Kisosekai’!

UDUKI ARATA

“I also want to try saying a meaningful line.” PROFILE:

NAME: Uduki Arata

GUILD: Six Gravity

BASE: The Large Floating Ruins [Genbu]

☐ He’s an easygoing young man. Whether he’s really a main member of Six Gravity’s or is actually involved in their activities is unsure. He seems to relatively appear out of nowhere, helps someone who’s in a tough spot or punishes a scoundrel, all while wearing his carefree expression. 

☐ His large bag seems to be filled with rewards or gifts from various places, as a result for the previously-mentioned activities. When this bag happens to be full, it’s time for him to return to the floating ruins. Once in a while, contacting him becomes impossible, but watching Aoi growing worried instead is his guilty pleasure.

COMMENT:

Hello, Uduki Arata-kun here, the hero that made a gallant entrance in ‘Kisosekai’. This is really out of context, but even though you might retort with things like, “When is he gonna appear? Is he gonna come out soon? … Really?! Just now?!” while watching,  I hope that you will enjoy this stage-play. I actually don’t really…... hate this phantom-like hero role. My favourite partner in this story is this bag that plays a very important part. Since I unconsciously hold on to it during the rehearsals while walking all around, I’ve been called a delivery person. This bag is filled with dreams, wishes and courage……

Come on, this is an adventure!

SATSUKI AOI

“You’re impossible, Arata-kun.” PROFILE:

NAME: Satsuki Aoi

GUILD: Six Gravity

BASE: The Large Floating Ruins [Genbu]

☐ He’s a serious young man in charge of Six Gravity’s public relations. He has a very gentle character by nature, but when it comes to negotiating with the executives of each nation, he seems to give his best in order not to be made light of.

☐ On the other hand, he’s bitter…… or rather jealous of Arata, who flies about to every single place carefreely, so once in a while he joins him for a change of pace. During his first time on the ground, he got abnormally excited upon meeting a strange, fluffy (animal).

☐ The tea parties that he and Haru host on the floating ruins are one healing part of Six Gravity's daily lives.

Hello, I’m Six Gravity’s Satsuki Aoi. 

First of all, welcome, to ‘Kisosekai’!

By the time you read this, you might be seeing the stage setting, I suppose? To match with the steampunk-like world view, there are a lot of gears, tubes and mysterious machines that blow steam. You will feel the excitement when you come to play at the theme park! Moreover, in this exciting world, we, Six Gravity, are a guild who knows the mysteries of the ‘world’ and who operates behind the scenes. Personally, I’ve played many roles that were twisted behind those people’s little fingers, but this time I’m excited as an actor to be playing a different position. I will do my best to show you this side of Satsuki Aoi for the first time!

SHIWASU KAKERU

“Alright! Let’s go, Koi!” PROFILE:

NAME: Shiwasu Kakeru

GUILD: Six Gravity

☐ He’s a capable person that would say “Leave Six Gravity’s vanguard to me!” at any given time.

☐ Contrary to his young appearance, he holds a mysterious weapon (gun) and dives boldly all around during the fighting scenes. He’s quite strong, but due to his astonishing bad luck, the results are often oblically right upward.

☐ He was helping a boy in trouble in a certain town when he lost his precious, precious ring. Knowing that it would be put up for auction in the Art City ‘Rikugo’, he and his partner Koi headed together to the town…... 

COMMENT:

Hello~! Gravi’s Shiwasu Kakeru here! 

This time there are a lot of action scenes that include me fighting with a gun, so I’ve been practicing hard every day! Fighting on the stage is something normal, and so is stopping in time in order to avoid getting hurt, but giving off the intensity of a real fighting scene requires very minutious movements, which I’m trying to carry out successfully.  If my position is off by one step or my timing is off, we’re in danger of colliding with each other!

That’s why I have a teacher that instructs me intensely about action scenes every day. It’s something serious, but at the same time moving my body is fun! Please expect a cool performance from me!

KISARAGI KOI

“Sure thing~!” PROFILE:

NAME: Kisaragi Koi

GUILD: Six Gravity

BASE: The Large Floating Ruins [Genbu]

☐ Six Gravity’s mood maker and also the one in charge of collecting information. His ability to fully use all innate communication skills and gather the needed information is a prowess that even the guild master, Hajime, has acknowledged. 

☐ Together with his terribly unlucky partner, Kakeru, he entered the Art City ‘Rikugo’, where he met Procellarum’s Rui and Yoru, and together with them he awakened his interest for the metal ornamentation process. With his skillful fingers, he gets better at it quickly.

☐ He got to know VAZZY’s Naosuke through a certain game that’s extremely popular in this world. They only knew each other by their game handles and by face, so when they suddenly met each other in a certain place, they were both surprised.

The steampunk world-view, and the costumes! The metal, the skin, the clothing! There are also a lot of belts and mysterious decorations! For example, each and every button attached to my clothes are made of metal. They’re super cute! (b*・∀・)」

“Now, everyone, are you ready? This is the beginning of a sweet adventure ☆” PROFILE:

NAME: Shimotsuki Shun

GUILD: Procellarum (※Guild master)

BASE: The White Demon Stone [Byakko]

□ A young man who is the master of Procellarum, a guild said to be legendary. He’s someone impossible to get a grip of, and overflows with playfulness in more than one way.

□ He basically seems to only stay at the base, [Byakko], where he drinks tea elegantly while waiting for the return of his fellow Procellarum members, who fly around the world. Next to him appears to be a large animal from the cat family that resembles something which could only possibly come out of legends.

□ A few hundreds years old photo of a young man who resembles him perfectly came to light, and since then rumours about him being immortal have flooded the world. There are too many mysteries surrounding him. 

COMMENT:

Welcome, to the [Kisosekai] world! I’m Procellarum’s leader, Shimotsuki Shun. This time the world is filled with cutting-edge yet broken machines, with primitive machines and plants. There’s a bit of magic, plus a variety of beings come to coexist despite not having any sense of conformity, and still, this world is filled with possibilities. There are so many things that come out of this chaos. Now, I wonder what will come to life this time? Let’s have a look together at everyone’s great adventure while having some refined tea. 

FUDUKI KAI

“Roger. If that’s the case, let’s move forward at full speed, everyone!” 

PROFILE:

NAME: Fuduki Kai

GUILD: Procellarum

BASE: The White Demon Stone [Byakko]

□ Procellarum’s elder brother and the one in the position of adviser. Behind his roughness and big heart hides someone acknowledged for his reliability and for his abilities to slip though during battle scenes.

□ He came to own a personal ship due to switching between their general shop from [Touda] and the [Byakko] base quite often. The ship’s name is [Leon]. It appears that sometimes he goes on trips to faraway countries with this ship.

□ As it can be seen, judging the loupe placed over his right eye, he loves tinkering with the machines. Sometimes he also hangs a notice for Shun before going to excavate the ruins.  

COMMENT:

Hello, Fuduki Kai here! This time the Procella team rises in the world once again as a legendary guild! As a general merchant, I cooperate in settling the mundane troubles that appear in the neighbourhood, but in the back I seem to be doing things like treasure hunting all over the world. Let me say, I’ve been, really, so looking forward to this! I love it (laughs). Although there are restrictions in the world view, Procella and Gravi are some sort of exceptional appearances and we have as many weapons as we want. I’ve been wanting to use a whip and when I made the suggestion they said OK. Expect me to (maybe) handle a whip splendidly!   

HADUKI YOU

“Ah, seriously. You’re so troublesome!”

PROFILE:

NAME: Haduki You

GUILD: Procellarum

BASE: The White Demon Stone [Byakko]

□ Among the Procellarum members, he’s the one who flies around the most, and also the one who holds the instigator position. He seems to go around ruins all over the world, where he collects samples. 

□ His favourite phrase is ‘troublesome’, and despite coming across only troubles or problems during his journeys around ruins, he is sometimes the one who takes up the contrary position and he’s good at taking care of others. When problems with women (of any age) arise, he will 100% help.

□ Physique-wise, he’s especially tall and nimble. On the spur of the moment, his ability to judge the situation is also very high. Furthermore, his strength during fights is particularly good too due to using a mysterious weapon bestowed to him by Shun. Also, he might have possibly beat a group of certain outlaws by himself?

COMMENT:

Everyone, were you waiting for my cool action scenes~? I have some this time around too… or to be more exact, they’re too many (laughs)! And, this is Haduki You. Even with that in mind, I’ll still do my best to retort to whatever happens. There’s even wire action, so if you came this far, you have to enjoy yourself watching it! Kicking the rascals in order to help the girls in need sounds like something I’d do, right? I’m flashy from the very first appearance, so make sure you burn my cool form into your mind. I leave the cheering to you!

NAGATSUKI YORU

“Okay, let’s get to work without complaining.”

PROFILE:

NAME: Nagatsuki Yoru

GUILD: Procellarum

BASE: The White Demon Stone [Byakko]

□ Procellarum’s earnest member. He and Shun are seen together with Byakko here and there, however he usually takes care of office work and has side jobs. He may have quite the docile looks, but as expected from the member of a guild said to be legendary, he moves around a lot.

□ His side jobs include making canned food. This miracle collaboration born from using Yoru’s pre-possessed cooking abilities and a machine invented by Shun created the canned food titled ‘Nagatsuki Madness’. Procellarum’s rumoured source of income is from delivering the canned food to celebrity shops from all over the world.   

□ In an unexpected turn of events, he decided to go the Art City ‘Rikugo’ while working as a general merchant in ‘Touda’ together with Rui.

COMMENT:

Hello, I’m Procellarum’s Nagatsuki Yoru. In a mysterious world where machines and plants blend together…...I’m making canned food (laughs)! There is actually an interesting scene in this story where I’m making canned food. I use, in fact, a machine that makes the canned food, though I couldn’t help but want one for the dorm too (laughs)! 

I may seem to enjoy my days peacefully, but starting with the arrival in the Art City, the story surrounding the mysteries of the world will enfold. It seems I have a few action scenes, so I will do my best!

MINADUKI RUI

“......These sounds are nostalgic.”

NAME: Minaduki Rui

GUILD: Procellarum

□ Among the Procellarum members, he and Iku are in charge of the shop management in ‘Touda’. More exactly, he’s responsible of the indoors part. As the one who handles information, he sorts and communicates every single detail concerning Procellarum.  

□ He developed his own unique code using sounds, which seems to have reduces the risk of information leakage instantly. 

□ He has unusual instincts and the data he picks up usually have something more hidden to them. Based on his standing in the Twelve Regions, he is usually the one who manages to get Shun the knowledge that he wants due to his vast networks of information.

□ By coincidence, he decided to visit the Art City ‘Rikugo’ together with Yoru. While he was there, he met Kakeru and Koi. He’s usually an indoor type of person but he was running around with the other two.

COMMENT:

Hi, I’m Procellarum’s Minaduki Rui. This time the concept of the stage play is steampunk. The costumes are cool, and cute, right? There are ornaments on the costume that may or may not have meaning, and there are also parts that are really necessary. I love them. It seems like there are also official merch for this world-view so please, check them as well. I diligently worked on advertising. 

KANNADUKI IKU

“Shun-san! Won’t you leave this to me?”

NAME: Kannaduki Iku

□ He’s the most light-footed member of Procellarum who’s also in charge of the guild’s public relations. He goes around in the city, runs to the front lines, and even charges through rough places! “Please leave everything to me!”

□ Normally, he’s a shop attendant at a small shop called “General Shop ~Furosera~” in Downtown Touda. Only a few members know that the shop is run by a legendary guild. 

□ “General Shop ~Furosera~” handles things from looking for lost items or searching for pets.From rubbish pickers up to spring cleaning helpers. No matter how small the problem is, they work to resolve it. Come, let’s say it with energy… “Welcome!”

I’m Procella’s Kannaduki Iku. The fun part about joint stage-plays is that we can always offer you a different scenery on the stage. 

For the fans of other units, the atmosphere may seem different.

- The name of the store was a bit tricky. The kanji meant something like "Anything Store ~Wholesaler~", but in the end we decided to go with 'general shop' (basically a shop that sells anything), while 'wholesaler' is actually a play on Procella, so we went for the literal reading, 'furosera'.

HAJIME: I think this time it was just right. We, Gravi, are an enigmatic guild and we seem to stay that way from the beginning until the end of the story.

KAKERU: We’re the villains, Hajime-san. (trembles)

HAJIME: The role is worth doing. 

KOI: These two who don’t often show their dark sides are having so much fun (laughs)!

ARATA: Isn’t it a little different from being the villain, though?

KAKERU: Yess! We go on being the sly, profound types until the finale, so I wouldn’t really call us ‘evil’ after all. 

AOI: Let’s do our best!

HAJIME: I’m looking forward to the shooting.

KAKERU: I’ve been thinking about this, but since Aoi-san and Hajime-san are having so much fun, maybe we should be a little bit cheeky, too~ (laughs)

KOI: Right~! Oka~y! Time to operate behind the scenes!

RUI: Ikkun, the outfit makes you really look a bit like a detective’s assistant.

IKU: Wow, can I be lost detective Koikku’s assistant? Is it in my destiny to be an assistant?

YORU: You’d be good as support. And the cap suits you. You look cool, yet cute!

YOU: On the other hand, I’ll be showing my strength in fights~!

RUI: You is the fighter type every time. 

YOU: It’s an honour to be counted on with things like moving around. 

KAI: Haha! I like that spirit! I wish I could get used faster to seeing with one eye. It’s nice but still difficult. 

YORU: Kai-san’s character moves around a lot, after all.

KAI: You and me are indeed expected to move around a lot, yeah! 

SHUN: Everyone, good luck! I’ll be elegantly and enigmatically smiling to you!
