The chirping birds have just begun chanting out their every morning song, filling the sunset with some music drifting through the chilly winter breeze. Stuck in the middle of an unappealing neighborhood somewhere outside the city, attempting on finding any near bus stop seemed highly unlikely at this point. On a rare occasion, where Seolhyun finally decided on attending the trend of living that healthy lifestyle, she took the motivation to get up and run a couple of miles. Now finding her in an unfamiliar surrounding of no acknowledgement of any source of information — she was left numb and bewildered.
Although she was foolish for not realizing soon enough of today’s technology, she swiftly picked her cell-phone up out of her training jumper and began to search through. She only had to activate her GPS in order to capture the right informations, but according to the last remaining bit of her battery, she knew she was screwed. If only luck was under her hands, she could’ve easily allowed this to happen rather than in some unbelievable way drop her cellphone through the tiny gap of the access into a drain.
Her eyes shot up like fire at the acknowledgement and immediately kneeled down to peep through, but unfortunately no matter how hard she tried, the darkness was blocking her sight and she could not recognize any objects that appeared similar to her device. If she already hadn’t noticed, the sudden sound of an unfamiliar voice had been perceived against her own will.”Well that went well,” a tone hinting of pure sarcasm, obviously indirectly informing that he had captured the entire incident.
She turned her gaze around to glare at the stranger with sharp eyes, anger and annoyance boiling through her veins as she was definitely not in the mood to deal with some ignorance. ”Mind your own fucking business, old hag.” She snapped without any hesitation, quickly adverting her attention back to the drain with a regretful sigh.
「▲」 — Tiredness took over his body as his sore legs continued to take him through the streets of Seoul. He was walking for hours, a vain attempt to make himself sleepy or, at least, able to close his eyes and relax, thing that with so much stress pre-comeback involving him, had become difficult. If he only could force himself to sleep... But now the sun was rising -- along with the grumpy mood elicited by the relentless headache --, the birds already singing their matinal tune and Taekwoon was so far from home that thinking about the way back seemed to work only to put some more weight over his shoulders, tempting him to just let his body be, somewhere, until he had energy enough to walk again.
Great idea, walking around aimlessly, I'd be surprised if you find a taxi anywhere close from here, being so lucky as you are, huh!, to complete his fortunate situation, his own mind dared to betray him, soon having him shaking any kind of thoughts in that direction.
But the real solution to his own thoughts came in the minute his eyes fell over the woman's petite figure. In a minute, the device was in her hands as she seemed concentrated on whatever its use was; in the next, the same squared mechanism was being dropped, ending up into the drain. He took advantage of her struggle to watch intently, at the same time giving his legs a little rest, thoughts now wondering about helping or not, although he knew already to which response they'd lead him. No sooner said than done, he cautiously moved closer wanting to keep himself quiet.
At least, that was his wish until he wasn't able to control his tongue, not to mention his awful mood.
Instantly regretting his words, Taekwoon went back as soon as he heard the female's retort, a small grimace curling his lips momentarily. Act like a piece of shit, get treated like a piece of shit, he thought the obvious, bitting his tongue not to speak any more stupidities. With narrowed eyes and a brow raised present on his expression, as he still tried not to let the anger take over him by glancing away for a moment, he tucked hands into his coat's pockets, before returning his sharp gaze to the stranger in front of him, his efforts to no avail.
He huffed, annoyed. ❝ I'm guessing you don't need any help, mh? I wouldn't be surprised if you never get that cellphone or whatever it is back. ❞ Taekwoon allowed himself to speak more than he'd usually do, not quite bothering on keeping his quiet image at that point. ❝ If it makes you happier, the old hag is pretty much going to mind his own fucking business and leave. Good luck, anyways. ❞
If leaving good impressions was something the male appreciated, of one thing he was sure: neither of them had left good ones.
