I know it’s a bit late, but I was too busy last week to finish this in time for Earth day. Oh well, it’s here and that’s what matters 💙
You can’t tell me Kiri doesn’t get annoyed being Eywa’s favorite child. Like, she probably goes out to take a dump, and 90% of the time, there’s a pack of viper wolves sitting there for emotional support like the average pet dog.
Also, petition to make Kiri’s official birthday on Earth day? It even rhymes 🌏

If you were to focus hard enough, you could've sworn your heart was thumping out of your chest, eyes unable to properly stay opened as they fluttered around. Nervous, your breath hitched ever so often, as you watched her.
“You okay?” Kiri asked, bending down to your level, softly running her fingers down your arm, your fingers digging into the mat below you.
You slowly nod, as she flashes you a smile, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear, then turning away to finish up your future necklace. You swallow hard, praying that you didn’t look like a complete flustered mess. You uncross your legs and shove them under you, watching Kiri’s every move. How gracefully she moved around. How gentle she was with your gift. How effortlessly pretty she was. How soft her lips were. And how perfect her body looked. Almost too perfect.
Suddenly, you felt mild discomfort in your lower stomach, almost causing you to frown. How badly you wanted Kiri to touch you, anywhere she pleased. How badly you wanted her lips on yours. You hadn’t noticed how close Kiri had suddenly gotten to you, to wrap the newly made jewelry around your neck. Only when you felt the cold shells on your chest did you meet Kiri’s eyes. You could almost feel her breathe on your skin, the desire growing much larger than it was before.
“There.” She grinned, proudly admiring her work of art.
“Thank you, Kiri.” You softly answered, placing your fingers on the piece of jewelry. You look back up at Kiri. You didn’t fail to notice how her gaze wasn’t on her creation anymore. Her big eyes hungrily lingered on your lips.
“Kiri?” You mumble quietly. She glances up at your eyes, and nervously giggles. She suddenly turned away again. You suddenly get up too.
“Kiri?” You ask again, as her back faces you. She suddenly stopped what she was doing, and slowly turned to you, not quite meeting your eye.You don’t say anything, but step closer and reach for her arm, softly grazing your fingers against her skin. She shudders from your touch, and steps closer.
Slowly, her hands rise up to your face, and she inches closer to you. You feel her soft lips on yours, and for the first time today, you feel your heart slow down.
You weren’t supposed to be doing this. It was wrong. But with Kiri, it felt right. Normal. Good. You lean in, deepening the kiss. Kiris soft hands on your cheeks, and your hands on her hips.
Slowly, you pull away, out of breath. “This feels nice.” You quietly giggle.
The tension gripping his shoulders seemed to deflate instantly from his brothers outburst. Neteyam could only spare his brother a ludicrous face as Lo'ak took on a sheepish look soon after meeting the eyes of their parents.
Jake could only spare his youngest son a look of reprimand before his mind calculated the strangers request. While he has done his best to teach his warriors the appropriate words necessary in English, it was clear in their faces that the lack of use of the foreign language made it more difficult to decipher the true meanings, leaving them slightly confused after the young girl spoke. The older warriors seemed to fair better, due to learning the language years ago, closer to the time of his arrival as one of the people. The younger ones tried their best to wipe the look of confusion off his face.
Looking over his shoulder to his mate, her eyes met his, face pinched and ears laid back, barely able to be seen. Swiveling his head over to his oldest, he attempted to meet eyes, only to notice that his attention was already preoccupied by the strangers seated in front of them. With a sweep of his arm, speaking in Navi Jake dismissed the accompanying warriors, to have his arms returned crossed in front of him.
With the last of his clansmen filled out with only a ripple of the tarp proving their absence, Jake met eyes with the girl in front.
Lifting her eyes, she gestures down to the ground with a single hand, "Perhaps you would like to take a seat and get comfortable, for we have much to go over."
The two sons meet eyes, shifting their weight, waiting for their father to make the first move. Jake lets out a breath of air, and covering the hand of his mates left on his shoulder, he makes the decision to him it the one in front, gesturing his sons to do the same. The family converge together, sitting across the small fire in the middle of the tent.
Once everyone was settled, he settles his eyes back to the group in front.
Squaring her shoulders, she meets the eyes of the clan leader in front, before saying, "I suppose I should get started. Now before you start asking questions, hopefully I can answer them by starting from the beginning. As you know, sky people inhabited this world many years ago, landing in various parts of Pandora. In the beginning of the first contacts, a young man was instructed to learn the ways of the people. This man with his Avatar searched for the neighboring clans around, to where he came into contact with a Navi woman. Through many eclipses, they fell in love after he proved himself as one of the people. Desperate for a chance to leave his past behind, he went through the ritual to pass through the eye of Eywa.
"After the ritual, they moved on to have many children. He taught his kids and mate everything he knows, passing as much wisdom as possible. When the start of the first Great War, the man felt an obligation to help end what his kind has started, only to loose his life."
As she started the story, her eyes left the people in front of her, glazing down to watch the embers of the fire. The small family listened, eyes never wavering as the story was unfolded. Every so often, Lo'ak would find his eyes glancing down towards her exposed hand, feeling something in his chest knowing his family wasn't the only ones to have the same oddity due to human heritage.
"Though the woman was struck with grief, she leaned onto her friends and clans to assist in the tearing of her children. She tried as best as possible to keep the memory of her mate alive in her children, keeping the practices he had started. Through the years she watched as her children grew, only to notice something strange with her youngest. Her child would come to her with stories. As any mother would she engage, only to brush off these stories as pure childhood imagination. It was only when these stories happened in real time that the mother realized that the child didn't just speak of immature stories, she would speak on happening of the future."
As the young intruder continued, the mated leaders started to show two different expressions. While Jake could only continue to listen further, eyebrows pinched with the attempt to decipher her words, his mate showed more signs of actual disbelief, becoming more agitated and hostile as the story continued.
"As the child grew, the visions become more detailed, and even when she willed them to come, it seemed as if Eywa would only show what the Great Mother would only want to be seen. While the visions seemed harmless, to where she had no problem sharing these insights with her family, she was soon shown one that made her stop completely."
The young lady stopped, fist gripped tightly, throat constricting as she attempted to continue.
"The child was soon shown visions of people in her clan coming to their end, and terrified by what was shown to her, she mentioned it to no one, desperately hoping it would prove to be false.
"Like many children growing up, she felt as if she didn't acknowledge it, it wouldn't happen. She continued on with this in silence, only speaking about it once the vision proved to be true. Just like she feared, her mother and many members of the clan lost their life in a hunt, leaving many without parents to rise them. Thankfully the clan was able to step in, and with the aide of her siblings, the children grew under the watch of Eywa."
Rising her head, she locked eyes to man in front of her, "Like many things in life, I do not know why I was chosen to bear having this gift. And while I can say that I was blessed by the Great Mother with many abilities, I have chosen from there on, to no longer ignore the things I see."
Stealing her shoulders with gritted teeth she continued looking on,
"Many days ago, I got another vision, yet this one was more violent then ones I have received prior. It was filled with smoke and fire, destruction everywhere. Many of the warriors in my clan were caught by it. There were Navi dressed in clothes not like ours, with weapons that do more damage than I have seen in my time. What was even stranger, was that they were asking if we had seen someone. Pinning us down, looking at our hands. It wasn't until a man examined my family that he realized that we were different. He demanded us to take him to 'Toruk Makto' and asking where 'Jake Sully' was.
"Before it ended, the last thing he spoke was of a name by 'Quaritch'."
By the end of her speech, Jake could feel as if the air had been sucked out of his chest, freezing completely. His mate froze for a second, tail whipping in agitation before abruptly standing, bearing down on the foreigners in a crouched stance, fangs bared and ears laid back with a hiss leaving her throat. Unmoved by the reactions towards her words, the young girl moved on, "It seemed as if Eywa was telling me a sign, and while I might not know everything there is when it comes to my visions, I felt it in my heart that this was something I must do. I come bearing this message to you, with the sole purpose is aiding in the upcoming war. I refuse to sit back as once before, watching innocents die at the hands of these monsters." Raising her voice she continued on, "I know there is more to come, and I come as humble as possible before to aid with what is coming, whether my visions or whatever you see fit, I'm prepared to fight with you."
Done with her speech, she knew there was nothing left to say to convince the strangers in front of her the truth of her words and convictions. Settling in, legs tucked under she felt the weight of the words she carried fall off, as if Eywa herself had given her a slight break from the burden. Hearing shuffling behind, she turns towards a young male situated by her, as he stands tall and proud.
The Sully family turns their attention to the male as he takes off the clothes hiding his identity, taking in his features. A long deep scar crosses down one of his eyes, sides of his head shaven bare. Tall in stature, he possessed a wisdom that was far from his ears. Clearing his voice he spoke proudly, "My sister is one of the best in our clan, proving food and assistance in every way she can. She is the best rider, and a skilled warrior. She left the clan to save lives from being taken simply for our presence there, to aid in a war to which she isn't apart of. She attempted to flee herself, not asking this price of hardship on my family, yet we followed anyway. We too will stand with her, have seen first hand the outcome of such sights by the Great Mother. If we can prevent loss, we will aid in this war with her. Generations before have followed you, Toruk Makto, and we will be honored to do the same once again."
Ending his words, the male kneels, baring respectfully to the leader of the clan, with the group of warriors following his lead.
Taken aback, Jake takes in the scene in front of him. He glances at his significant other, to see her gaze soften upon them, hand to her mouth in astonishment. His sons sit diligently by his sides, the youngest wringing out his fingers while the oldest was frozen. Making a decision Jake stands tall, shifting his weight to accommodate for siting for so long. One last glance he makes eye contact with his mate, having a silent conversation to finalize his decision before turning back to the group and stating, "I will discuss with the elders on my final decision. In the meantime, my sons will take you to one of our huts available at the outreach of the village. Keep your head low, I will have you guys retrieved when the decision is made."
Rising up from kneeling in front of him, Jake doesn't miss the eye contact between his sons, and choosing to ignore the odd look of his youngest. Neteyam is the first to stand, making way around the group, pulling the flap of then tent open. Taking their leaving, the young girl that spoke prior waits for the rest of her group to file out, feeling the presence of the clan leaders at her back. Lost in thought she bumps into her companion in front, only to be shoved back. Hearing snickering from the person in front, her hand shoots out to knock the back of their head. Hearing the hiss leaving his mouth, she reprimands, "Pinche puto!"
Jake stops behind the young girl, a bewildering look on his face, "You know Spanish?!"
Turning her head to peer over her shoulder, a grin makes on her face, "I told you, my father taught us many things." With that she turns back to continue following the group in front, leaving the clan leader behind, pondering on just what Eywa has brought to his home.

Second chapter is done! I know it's a long story and dialogue, and probably messed up the timing from when humans actually came, but for story's sake let's pretend it makes sense lol. I am by no means an expert on Spanish, but when the idea came to mind on them knowing the language, I couldn't get it out of my head. Happy reading lovelies♥️
