Inevitably I read yours with shipper goggles on (yet another day in the life of me), but thanks to you (and everyone who gave input), I've a new appreciation of the writing of the show. What an epic romance! - in every sense of the term!

Ā I looked at it with shipper goggles too. :D Ā Itās a little hard not to once you see that they could have done ANYTHING with Polis, and they chose to put the Clarke, aka the āprincessā, at the top of a skinny Rapunzel-style tower and then send Bellamy up to rescue her. twice. Ā THAT IS A THING THAT THE SHOW DID TWICE. Ā Like, once would have been fine? Ā You could have just done it in 303 and itād be a nice subversion of the fairy tale trope. Ā The āheroā goes to save her but she doesnāt want to be saved, and heās out of his depth, and itās like, I dunno, some kind of commentary on classic patriarchal ideas being overturned. But then the show had to go and re-do it all over again, but this time play the trope straight, and make it super romantic and dramatic. Ā Likeā¦ okay show. Chill. We get that you want to use your main characters to tease at the epic stuff. Niiiiiiiiice.
Maybe itās just artistic writing flair because JR has a boner for genre homages. Maybe it means the OTP is real. We canāt knowā¦

Okay, I would be Enlt Rar or Enlt Ral (depending on if you use my birth name or my internet alias). But the even theĀ ākyā in Kylo came from the middle ofĀ āskywalkerā and I like a bit of imagination too. So variations of myĀ āforceā name could be Ristiwa Qar or Tiwa Ral either of which I like better. And are actually pronounceable. (I took theĀ āQā from Qui-gon).Ā
