I also wholeheartedly believe that name day would try and introduce the two of them because kiperina should have friends around her age. semmelweis already beefs with him in her voicelines for his arcane skill being "useless", which could mean that she has seen more practical arcane skills in action. guess whose arcane skill + mastery of it played a critical role in space? that's right, kiperina. it also helps that incantations are semi-canon. take things as you will with regards to her meta status

it's not like they are incompatible either, since their cores (reckless orphans who have nothing to lose and everything to prove) are the same. semmelweis did not end up being a level 4 investigator by chance. kiperina did not end up becoming a laplace researcher respected by ulrich by chance. in terms of surface level personalities, semmelweis likes having her own personal space (voicelines) and kiperina is not one to really pry harshly (gap month). the only thing that might frustrate semmelweis is kiperina's lack of want for Anything but I think she could come to appreciate that in itself. kiperina is literally Nice I don't think she would have any issue with semmelweis considering that semmelweis is the fakest idgafer on the planet.

It seems like, recently, I'm cursed to lose 50/50 but blessed to lose to good characters.

Even in ptn, I keep losing at 30ish pity to characters who happen to perfectly synergize with my dps (in this case, YingYing), and then get the guaranteed after another 30ish. For now, I'm guaranteed to get Shin after losing to Milly.
