WHY IS IT in content i always see zim explicitly and disturbingly despicable?? like HEAR ME OUT, yes zim is crazed and thinks he wants to destroy the earth and dib as well but i feel like mopiness of doom has proved that at the end of the day, his relationship with dib is a cat and a mouse game. i do think zim has convinced himself what he wants is earth’s destruction, but he’s had so many opportunities and devices that could cause mass destruction, yet he goes after dib, more likely than not knowing dib will be okay. just like in megadoomer.

in a sense...? they’re basically just playing.

a weird way of playing, but that’s essentially what it is. mopiness of doom literally proves this whole thing and this is stuff the fandom should know, but i still see zim portrayed as this like purely evil dude - and yeah it can be for au but like... some people are convinced that’s how he is in general and that he doesn’t care for anyone or anything at all but his mission. 

literally without dib, zim lost all motivation to the point he laid there depressed on the couch. even with his usual attempts to amp himself up. it was like losing his best friend. they both weren’t happy.

 it’s kinda funny but... i do think zim is actually more reliant on dib than dib is him? without zim, he could move onto the next paranormal thing (if he was 100% positive zim was no longer a threat) while zim NEEDS dib for motivation. i believe zim kind of knows his stance in his world but the typical narcissists coping mechanism is denial and focus on themselves. for example, like how in the trial when he started getting scared for his life, he was beginning to panic but once the control brains messed up and he got off trial as well as permitted to drive the massive, he suddenly seemed to have forgotten what happened and was thanking the tallest over and over. so like, relapse, i guess? this all goes back to my point i swear and that’s the fact about him emotions... and this emotion is insecurity. the reason he ACTS the way he does is insecurity... as well as just being insane.

must i even mention zim with gir? he has SO MUCH patience for gir. when gir started crying in walk of doom, zim got a bit flustered at the act and started feeling bad, dismissing gir’s actions and trying to figure out a way for them to get home.... there are many other instances where it shows zim clearly has emotions.

LET’S JUST CALL THIS... A RAMBLED COMPILATION OF ZIM SHOWIN’ REAL EMOTION RATHER THAN A RANT.

a lot happened, lots of friends were there... and we got surprised BY ONE NEW KID-! DEWI! Dewi must’ve been squished in there because his antenna is all messed up, along with his leg. he’s definitely the runt because he’s abnormally small.... but we are extremely exhausted-!!!
