“A formidable ability, indeed. However,” Eckard got that mischievous look on his face, as he put his hand up as high as he could reach. Hannah’s phone was in his grasp. When or how he nabbed it was unclear. Who knew a dragon could be so deft. “Can it defeat my power: long arms and body.”

Brown orbs lifted from where they’d been glued to his computer screen for the past couple hours, taking a moment to adjust to the cafe’s dim lighting before being able to properly scan the crowded room for any empty seats near an outlet. He was supposed to be finishing up a term paper, but he failed to cut out possible distractions the moment his friends invited him to one of their lengthy, competitive games of CAH. Whatever-- he’d finish it later. For now, he needed to find somewhere to plug up before he lost yet another round because his laptop decided to die mid-game. 

Spotting a seat, he picked up his bag and his computer and headed over, hesitating only a moment before catching the eye of the person sitting right next to the open seat, “Y’mind if I snag this before someone else does?”

     ❛   Here, taste this. You’ll be fine--I think.   ❜          It’s not a personal hobby of hers, but she’s bored & has decided to try dabbling in the culinary arts. Having spent a majority of the day wondering what to do with the basket of spicy peppers she was gifted whilst in town, she’s decided to cook up a roasted trout, adding  all  of the peppers without any sort of forewarning to her companion.
