Oh, hi, Kiohmo! I'm Effie, but my big name is Effemie. You can just call me Effie. 

You must have heard Vera talking about me because we are friends! We like to hang out when we're not too busy. We do a lot of talking, actually. Most of the time we're talking in her apartment. I like to sleep over there, since she's probably my best friend aside from Nori. She's real nice. It's kinda funny that she's always cooking but not really eating all this, like, totally yummy-looking stuff! Haha, it's so weird! You should come over. We'd probably be doing our hair. Or, well, Vera does my hair more. Otherwise, she says, my hair just does what it wants. I didn't know hair could make choices like that!

well I read through your blog and noticed you had problems upgrade.. evolving…? your growlithe right? how … did you decide to evolve it? cause my Lillipup an my Oshawott have to evolve but theyre so cute as they are! So I’m not sure if I should. But I jus can’t get past the second gym leader! she keeps beating me! It’s not fair. 

will it help if I evolve them? I dunno what to do!

Ooof, sorry it took so long for me to respond to this, kiddo. I've been in a bad mood for a few days and just didn't feel like talkin' to anyone so I apologize for that. You ever have those days where your best friends are just being total assholes and you can't get away from them 'cause they live with them? Yeah it was something like that but I'm kind of better now that I've had time to go for a run and eat some good food. 

But anyway, yeah, I totally pokemanz! I totes do. You might'a seen me struggling with the decision on evolving my Growlithe and I was totally conflicted. Totally! Because I thought it would look too much like Leon and OH WAIT A SECOND a hot second just wait don't you like work for Leon or some shit? Like a secretary or something? Assistant idk but you DO don't you. WELL isn't he just too towering and gigantic and fluffy? Fuck, like an Arcanine am I right?! So that was why I didn't want to evolve little Growlie at first because ugh I was worried he'd go off and try to make babies everywhere and it's like, GROSS get a hold of yourself keep it in your pants your figurative pokemon pants

But what I learned was that my Growlithe actually wanted to evolve, because he was embarrassed that he kept losing. I let my Totodile evolve all'a the way up to Feraligatr because she was really obvious about wanting to, but I was too scared to evolve Growlithe for personal reasons. So here's my thing! I don't think you should evolve yours if you don't wanna. There's no rule that says you gotta do that. Listen to your guys! They'll letcha know if they want to or not. Sometimes they're too embarrassed to stay little anymore, and sometimes they're too scared to grow up too quick. Just hear 'em out and they'll tell you what they want to do. 

I hope that helped ya, friend. And hey! They'll still be plenty cute when they evolve. Totally! Don't ever let Feraligatr hear that you don't think evolved pokemanz are cute. She's fabulous. ;D
