Definition: a godshard is an individual who is a shard of a deity, spirit, or higher power.

Notes: it is a common experience that a godshard is broken off for a purpose, be it fulfilling some large cosmic purpose or something more small scale. this isn’t always the case, though.

keep in mind, godshards can exist alongside whoever they are a shard of, meaning that they can function normally with or without the shard as part of them.

it may be considered kin, but i consider it only kin adjacent, as it is rejected and/or unknown by most communities, even kin communities, on first glance.

Disclaimer: godshards are not godkin. godkins are wholly a deity, while godshards are only partially a deity.

so hi everyone! my name is, as it says in my bio, aiseon, and i'm 17... in human years, of course. i identify as dragonkin, but i also really connect with/love wolves, arachnids, bats, ravens and horses. i don't kin with those though. i love all animals except for humans - not because i believe we are all evil, but because we can't help but destroy the planet we live on.

as a dragon i would definitely be green - or at least, every time i draw or do anything related to dragons, it always ends up green, and i feel like any other color would not match me as a dragon. i would be multiple shades of it though, varying from very dark green to lime. i would be very large and have two back legs and two wings, and i would have large fin-like scales atop my back from head to tail. i would breathe fire - sometimes when i'm furious i still widen my nostrils and feel like i'm lacking something when there is no heat building up in the back of my throat.

sometimes i feel very weak, when i get so pissed i feel like i could destroy something and i can't - not the way i would, anyway. i feel helpless. but this is only temporary i suppose. don't worry about my anger - usually i am a friendly dragon. only ignorant people bring out that side of me.

i hoard books - or i try, but i often don't have enough money. but for the ones i do have, i'm always willing to curl up and read this or that one for the hundredth time.

i would love to get to know more otherkin and i'm trying to follow as many of you as i can. you're always welcome to hop into my messages or my ask so we can talk about ourselves and maybe become friends. i don't bite! or... breathe fire, or anything. oh, and on a last note, i'm totally willing to do RP.
