update on the mask project i abandoned for months and then picked up again:
i have been adjusting it infinitely and now im like halfway thru furring it (with the half-felted bits of fluff from a brushed out yarn tail im working on plus some brushed out yarn for more directional feathers. this might actually be a feasible mask someday... i think i need to repaint the beak before i get too much further with the feathers

I just had the strangest shift
i was laying beside my child (AKA my beloved dog) all curled up with him, right
and i felt/saw in my BRAIN my beak and wings. One draped over his body + slightly bent and the other stretched out away from us
but like… it kinda flashed a few times (idk how to describe it well)??? And was a mix between phantom and envisage?!!?? Idk how to describe it, it was so fricking weird
my ravenkin wants to eat raw salmon and sashimi sooo bad but i just. dont like the taste of raw fish 😭 this is so awful how dare my tastebuds fail me!!!! im just a bird😔😔
