If you don’t mind me asking. After all of these years of this platform falling out of use why do you still use it? And, are you on any other platforms like twitter or IG? I’m asking because I don’t use Tumblr anymore. I only keep it for past posts. Now I get everything I used to get in one place and loved about Tumblr from other platforms. I came up here to see if anyone I followed was still posting and seen you were one of the few and was curious.
I’ve had my tumblr for so many years I couldn’t imagine giving it up. It’s part diary, part old photo album, part documentary of what was happening in various stages of my life personally, in the world politically & how those things directly inspire everything I’m posting on any particular day in time. I have poems here that aren’t anywhere else. Not to mention the 10+ year friendships with people I’ve met while we were all figuring ourselves out.
I have other social media, almost all of it actually, but nothing gives me what I have here.
