Man, you know what? These NaruSaku retarded idiots, still running their mouths and it's 2018. NaruSaku is dead! Get that through your thick skulls and move on! No matter what you NaruSaku fans say, nothing will ever change the fact that Naruto and Hinata will always still be couple material. It's 2018, so please, do all of us, NH fans, a favor, and just give up already!
2012-2014 was PEAK King Of Lightning 😂🤣
Anytime you’re bored, always watch a King of Lightning Fairy Tail rant.
They will LIVEN your day 😂🤣👌
Since you're saying anime reviewers shouldnt analyze fairy tail so much what do you think of youtubers like kingoflightning or sawyer7mage who have less than stellar opinions on the series? kol reviews it from head to toe so do you think hes ludacris hmm? Fairy tail sucks and no one diesss likee I dont even care about it. you better give good reasons for a worthless show
See, I know what you’re trying to instigate right here. You’re probably waiting for my answer so you can screencap or send the url link of this post to either one of the two users or any other anime revieiwer on youtube that you have in mind, so a feud can escalate. But unfortunately for you I'm not going to fall for your childish antics and respond in the most rational way possible.
First of all, if you’re trying to initiate me into writing bad things about either two youtubers I’m sorry to dissapoint you because I am a fan of both and subscribed to their channels. I think they’re funny and give great reviews especially sawyer7mage.Now if you’re asking me about how I feel in terms of what they say towards Fairy Tail, you’re trying to make me look like the stereotypical individuals in my fandom who are extraordinarily passionate about the series judging by your select choice of words. And there's nothing wrong with having so much affection or admiration for any series but, of course, it should be to an extent.
Now to answer your question, I don’t mind their critiques on an analytical perspective because, obviously, as a reviewer they need to do so and I agree with them most of the time. Sometimes I do feel they have too high expectations for the series but it's understandable! My generation and theirs were not only around during the rise of anime in North America but during the breakthrough of the King of all Shounens... Dragon Ball. So I get where they are coming from and why they could've practically compared any series with Dragon Ball's caliber. That would definitely explain why they, and most, anime reviewers praise One Piece constantly because it nearly fits that bill and it's exceptionally good as a series and/or shounen. It's just, to me, I've realized that if the series itself GENERALLY doesn't take itself seriously, why do so many others? It's not going to be an extremely shounen series you're hunting for, so don't expect much. Yeah, sometimes I do think they go too far with what they say because it's not really so bad as it's set out to be. Yeah, Natsu winning essentially all the time gets annoying, "Nakama Power" seems really cheesy and overemphasized a lot, and the show does follow a predictable formula but then again no series is entirely perfect. I'm not going to sit here and defend Fairy Tail as if it lacks flaws, because it has its own cons, but some of their dislikes towards the series is what Fairy Tail relies on. I recently read Otakugrade's answer to an anon question, and although I was always aware of Fairy Tail's "feelings" power booster (which took me a while to get over and grow with) the way he placed his words to explain why it is so really hit me - it is a SUPREMELY emotionally driven show. I know other series have emotions such as revenge as a motivation factor but I guess what Hiro is trying to pose out there in the series is, "How about friendship? Can it be a power boost as well? It's forms an emotion, right?" Yeah, sounds kind of cheesy and you could say One Piece executes the whole Nakama aspect better, but to fully grasp why Hiro really stresses the power of friendship is because of his personal life.
Remember, like in any series, all these wonderful authors like Oda, Kishimoto, and Kubo had inspiration to start somewhere. And like them, Hiro very much values friendship because of his own life experiences. You can go look up his interview with animenewsnetwork. He's stated it elsewhere but I can't really recall if any website still has them since they're kind of old. Natsu winning practically all the time probably pertains to the fact he's the main male character and because of his personality. Yeah I know it's not a valid reason but it's the only one that makes sense (in terms of being a main character) and I can easily give you examples in terms of his personality. And discussing the issues of a formula....... really? Even if you tell me a different series follows a formula, maybe even a predictable/cliche one like Fairy Tail, I would be laughing. If you take into account the longevity an author may strive for, there will most likely be a formula (or an element in the story) repeated so that it prolongs the series until important points arise. I mean, look at Naruto! Come on now... tell me, do they or do they not have frequent moments where Naruto (or whoever is the "good' guy) and the antagonist STOP fighting and talk. Like that literally summarizes most fights even my favourite battle (and arc) which Pain participates in.
And to say no one has really died in the series just gives me the confirmation that you've either 1) never watched/read the series, 2) didn't watch/read it to an extent, and/or 3) joined the band wagon of hate. Yeah, there's not a lot of people who die but there are a handful. Like I previously mentioned an author's personal values are what drives their work and with this, in that same animenewsnetwork interview, he explains how it's very hard to kill a character because he heavily values life. I know it may seem like a really dumb excuse to write a good story but it's your own creation right? You become emotionally invested/attached to your creations. Just like JK Rowling or any other authors out there. I know she's mentioned how she was planning to kill Ron but couldn't and how sad she was about killing Dumbledore.
But honestly as much as I can disagree with their perspectives on Fairy Tail, my disagreements with their views can ALSO be applied to other shows they review. Not just Fairy Tail. So at the end of the day I just respect their opinions and don't rip their faces off, via comments, just because my opinion contradicts theirs. Interests and standards are a verrrry subjective manner so I don't get really bothered because to me, that's life. You might think the 80s was the best, but I could say the 90s was much better. There's nothing in this world that's universally agreed upon.
So in conclusion to my long essay to you, don't watch/read it if it bothers you so much. No one's chugging it down your throat and no one should ever do that to anyone. Also, if you didn't care about it you wouldn't even acknowledge or discuss it whatsoever. Think closely. When something stirs you up, whether good or bad, and you pay attention to it by reacting... you care in some form or shape. Caring for something doesn't have to do with just great compassion or concern you know, it's also defined as "serious attention."
