A still super sleepy Han Solo from sedation found the balls in no time flat! This is definitely a way to score points with the dogs that come into the Tustin #EyeCareforAnimas. Super Trainer Tip: I highly recommend this location if you find yourself in need. The staff here is amazing!! Three of the gals have already spent time with him, using super calm energy, just massing him and helping him feel comfortable. ❤️🙏🏼 So grateful for staff that really knows how to be calm and appropriate with dogs. . I’ve got your back! Hanging out in Tustin with the rebel today. Part of turning 2yo means #OFA’s eyes, hips and elbows as well as PennHIP. We are also taking rads of his knees and testing for JLPP. Unfortunately we couldn’t get our cardiac OFA today as the cardiologist isn’t in. We will have to come back on the 19th for those. Wish us luck! 🤞🍀🙏🏼 Super Trainer Tip: I thought Nelson might enjoy this pic of Han in the back seat. There’s something very powerful about us being back to back. Han chooses to sit with his back up against mine, he’s keeping a look out, making sure we are safe while I’m watching the front. There are moments and days where Han acts like a 2yo snot and he drives me crazy. Then he has moments and days when he starts to truly act like a partner instead of a rebel. He’s certainly maturing much slower than I’d like, but I’m sure this is all part of the grand plan and no doubt, he’s a great teacher and there’s plenty of growth ahead for me. 😉 . 🙏🏼 Sharing is not only caring, but these tips just may save a life! You’re not going to believe this, but... Super busy day for me, trying to meet an insane deadline that popped up randomly and unrealistically, super tired, so have to make this a short one and get some sleep. Rockie Report! This gal gets better and better! We had a breakthrough in her separation anxiety; I was able to leave her on the training field by herself to play and go potty while I walked into the house in order to spy on her through the window. No barking, no fuss, no problem. Woohoo! She finally got comfy on a dog bed and practiced her place command. She’s been too nervous the first couple of days, but finally, she relaxed. She really loves the Salt Lamp! Super Trainer Tip: Need a little help keeping your pup on a bed while you go about your business? Just tether them. Use a chain tether if they are chewers, attach by the “dead ring” of a collar, make sure some component swivels, make sure everything in reach is safe, keep an eye on them, and never leave them unattended. Whew! Today was the first long busy day I’ve had since before surgery and boy am I feeling it. Definitely over did it and broke the rule of another week of bed rest. Will do far more resting the next few days, but I was too excited about the photo shoot tomorrow and wanted to set out all the fun props we have! I can hardly wait to play with this stuff.
