Congo Square will be showing August Wilson's sequel to Seven Guitars, King Hedley II in March 2014. We just had our first open call auditions last night and saw a lot of great talent (that Tonya monologue - whew!) A play like this, which uses quite a bit of beat work in the writing, requires a lot of work and direction.
Can't wait to see more possible cast members stepping up to the plate.
